[Rewarded Review] A Hug From Home

I was very satisfied with my purchase as the 12x16 inch pillows were perfect, exactly what I was looking for to complete as throw pillows to go with my daughter’s quilt she started before she joined the US Army in Jan 2021. I just finished it for her and did two shams and sending them to her as a Christmas/birthday gift. Her Birthday is December 29th.

I have bought many pillow inserts of all sizes over my many years of crafting. Those sold at JoAnn’s are always the best quality. The18x18 size were purchased to fill premade holiday pillow covers I use to decorate throughout my home.

Joanne’s always has whatever I need… and more. I purchased 2 Boho style pillow cases to decorate my bed.. Next stop was Joanne’s for pillows. Yes… there they were .. perfects size and were on sale on sale on sale. My bed looks fabulous.

I purchased these pillow inserts & crocheted covers for them to give as Christmas gifts this year. It worked out really well & I will definitely be purchasing again. The pillows themselves are more firm than soft, & would work better for decoration, as opposed to actually sleeping on them, in my opinion.

Poly Fill Basic pillow inserts are my standard of a low cost effective and well made product. While at full retail price they are no bargain, they are worth the cost because they are well made and consistent in their quality.

Waste of money

Disappointed; pillows are flat. I had to put fiberfill stuffing in them to plump them up. Unfortunately they are for a gift for my niece & I have to sew the knitted cover over the pillow form. If they don't wear well & go flat, I'll have to open them up again & replace the pillow forms for her. I think they are a waste of money. Better pillows sold elsewhere-but they were out of stock.
