Great outdoor planter for 10' trees.

This planter is absolutely ideal for the maple tree in our courtyard area. It is currently in a wooden planter that has "burst at the seams". According to our landscaper, this planter is big enough to allow a good 10 years growth. The planter itself should last that long. We already have the smaller size of this style planter in our courtyard and it is still holding up many, many years later (unlike the wooden planters). I highly recommend Mayne planters.

Favorite Planter

For a permantent planter, I couldn't ask for more. Roses doing well, butterfly bushes happy, easy to weed the few weeds that pop up occas. as I use good expensive potting soil. I have multiples of these in different sizes. I do have blueberry bushes in 5 large rectangular planters and hoping the roots don't clog up the drng system as a shrub did. ( which died) and they say that shrubs and dwarf trees are not meant to be planted in these containers. Had I more money, I would have way more of these as I truly am happy with the reults and the looks of these so long as I never move as I don't know how I would move a full one of this size planter. I think I have 20 of them in different sizes but mostly in white or black depending on where they sit.

The extra large Mayne Fairfield planters are gorgeous! As I am using them outside, I followed the direction and drilled out the four small drainage holes. Which means the reservoir function is negated. However, the double wall construction ensures the limelight hydrangea trees roots will remain insulated from shock due to abrupt temperature changes if we get an unexpected hard freeze before the tree goes dormant for the winter or after it wakes up in the spring. I'd buy this planter again, and just might do so for another project.

Beautifully designed

This pot looks beautiful on my front porch, been looking for 2 years for a pot big enough for my gardenia trees. The panel detail matches the detail on my house, the black matches my black shutters. Bigger pots are hard to find, more expensive but this one is perfect.

Classic Beauty

I recently purchased two of these and i’m very satisfied. I was a little worried about drilling the holes in the bottom as the instructions required - but it was simple and easy to figure out. I had them delivered to the store and I had to unbox them to fit I to my crossover suv. They are VERY BIG and very classy.
