Unique looking wall plates with character

We repainted our kitchen recently and these look great with the new light grey paint color. The black color on the decoration is more white washed in some areas than others, but in my opinion that gives it a better look.

I liked the design in this switchplate but needed one in black due to some redecorating of the room where it was going. So I bought the plate as is and spray painted it. That worked great and you can still see the beautiful design. It took the paint very well and I like that adaptability. I'm happy with it.
