I had high hopes for this as wall covering and wow was I disappointed. It is EXACTLY as described, it is foam, as in soft styrofoam. It is thin and cheap to the touch. This is bottom of the barrel as far as materials for wall coverings go. I found what I was ultimately looking for in the Grossfillex products, beautiful and excellent quality and only a buck more a square foot.

Brightens and Quiets

After reading other reviews, and knowing that someday I would want to remove it, I devised an easy installation plan: I painted staple gun staples white and stapled the panels to the walls. (Sharpies paint markers) Saves time and aggravation and is simple to do. No fussing with adhesives or needing to clean large wall surfaces to prep. The staples go into the spaces between the bricks and are mostly invisible. These panels not only brightened up my dark kitchen, they made it quieter, too.

It looks cheaper than I expected. I wouldnt say I liked the material. Its foam, and it is not easy to clean.

Not worth it.

This product is not worth the cost and time! It is not paintable, no matter what the manufacturer says. I consulted with sherwin Williams and several pro painters and this is not paintable. Paint just flakes off. The adhesive sticks to your skin but not the wall so great. Had to use construction adhesive. Seams don’t line up, edges are roughly cut. Doesn’t cut cleanly. Ruined a pair of scissors and multiple utility knife blades. Maybe good for small areas but that’s it! I do not recommend.

I’m trying to figure out how to make this work and having a very difficult time. It’s giving me popcorn ceiling vibes.

Tiles do not look good in person

While the images of the tile looked good, in real life, the tiles looked very fake, flimsy, and unrealistic. there's no way I'd put something so awful on my walls.

The glue literally peels off the item and barely any left to use mite as well not have any on. Had to replace a few already because they would refund me.
