The look of this low profile chest is fantastic. The drawback is it's made of absolute cheap garbage. Sawdust and glue... better known as particle board. It absorbs water and deforms quickly. Great look on a piece of cheap knock off non-lumber. Pass it up.

Beautiful dresser. It looks more gray than black though. It took a couple hours to put together but it is a nice piece of furniture in my sons rooms. I purchased this because of the dimensions. He has a small room and we didn’t want to crowd it with large furniture. Overall happy with it, even though the color was off.

Love the look not the quality

I love the style and look of this dresser however I was not as happy with the quality of the dresser. First of all there were 2 pieces that were damaged when taking them out of the box. One where it was cracked (which eventually got worse when assembling) and another spot that had a chunk chipped off the veneer. Both spots were visible when the dresser was assembled which was super disappointing. The dresser is a cheap pressed wood with a veneer finish that scratches easily so I’m thinking it may not look nice for too long. The directions were easy to follow and the size is perfect for what we needed but definitely disappointed with the quality for the price.

The dresser is almost exactly what I thought it would be for the price. My son and I put it together in about 30 minutes. It did lack specific worded instructions, instead it had pictures to follow. My thought is if you are going to provide a 6 page instruction manual how hard would it be to put a few lines of instruction...otherwise it did come slightly damaged on one corner but it was mostly covered up once put together. By the time I noticed it we were already ready to go and the thought of boxing it all back was worse than having a damaged dresser. I am still going to contact Overstock about it.
