I bought this off another site but wanted to leave a review here as well. I've only had it a short time but so far I'm happy. My old microwave broke and I temporarily had a small 700watt one that drove me crazy. I LOVE being back to a regular 1000watt microwave. It cooks food quickly and evenly. It is a lot noiser than my old microwaves but it doesn't bother me much. I definitely recomment this

Good product nice features

This is the second microwave I bought with exactly the same as the first one we had the only thing that I would complain about is in the first one the lightbulb burn out within two months of purchase. It didn’t affect the way that microwave worked. It was just a nuisance because there was no way to get to the lightbulb to change it.

Good Microwave

The color is nice as I always look for black over chrome. It is a quiet microwave, only thing is the timer ring is loud. Not sure why companies make the buzzer/timer ring so loud. Works just as well as my Oster microwave did.

I was so pleased...

I'm fairly fussy about truth in advertising. If a product represents itself as being red, for example, I expect it to be a true red, and not a kind of dirty, faded looking shade of maroon. delighted when I opened the box to unpack it and saw a rich, crimson colored finish on the front side face frame of my new microwave. The top %26 both sides of it are a sleek matte black. The inside pleased me even more than the vibrant red exterior finish : it was a medium charcoal grey instead of the standard bright white that seems to stain so easily in every microwave I've owned before this one. I was very relieved to find that after it has beeped 5 times to indicate time's up, food is ready, it stops beeping. My last microwave would continue to beep every 15 seconds until you opened and closed its door.

Red/black microwave

i love it. it's big and spacious. cooks fast. the red matches my kitchen decor perfectly. it's easy to use. way better then stainless steal i had before. i couldn't keep it clean. due to these over grown kids.

Nice Red Microwave

We had an old red microwave (~12 years) that started to rust. Went looking for a replacement and found this one. I really like it overall - nice size, works well, looks good. The red could be more prominent but not a deal breaker. Also, it’s a little loud but nothing crazy. All around good microwave!

[Rewarded Review] Would not recommend

Looks good, love the red. Cooks good and easy to operate. However, the inside lighting is cheap, does not illuminate entire inside as my old microwave did. The main complaint though is that it doesn't have an exhaust fan. The inside steams up so bad you can't see what you are cooking thru the window. Had I known this didn't have a fan I would not have purchased. Faberware, come on, what I let down.

[Rewarded Review] A good purchase

It takes some getting used to. The only problem I have with this, is that it is so loud. I also had to prop it up because the door is crooked. It cooks really well, when you put it on the correct settings such as cook time instead of express cooking. It’s also a beautiful color inside and out.

Died months after buying

Was a great buy and big but after several months it stopped heating up and made loud noises. My kids could have cooked something in it wrong but it worked moments before we cooked a frozen dinner in it so not sure if it was kids? The dinner was a normal microwave dinner and it was months old. Very strange.

Great Microwave

Product is easy to use, nice design, great and very efficient. The only problem I had was the delivery. Product was obviously mishandled in shipping and I ended up with 2 dents on the top of the appliance. As my old microwave was useless, I have kept the new appliance. The 5 stars are for how the appliance works. Definitely a “1” on the delivery or guys who slung the box around in transit or at warehouse.

My 1st Home Depot online purchase. Product arrived late & in battered box. Was not shipped locally but across the country. It’s functioning but noisy. Tho new it sounds like it’s on its last legs. I wonder how long it will last as a result of the rough handling. Delivery affects the product experience, Home Depot. P.S. Don’t expect the microwaves on their website to be available at their stores. Sales clerk never even offered to order it.

Works perfectly

All I look for in a microwave to start is to pop a full bag of microwaveable popcorn without burning or leaving tons of kernels. If it works good with that generally everything else I cook odds according to manufacturing cook times IE breakfast sandwiches, frozen dinners.

Farberware Classic Microwave 1000W

This is the perfect microwave for me. It's just the right size and has a good handle to hang onto. It works well and not too noisy. The bell rings 5 times. It's all gray interior inside and easy to clean. I'm happy with my purchase.

Good microwave, good price

My old 1000 watt microwave died. I ordered this Farberware unit. It works well and easy to use. It is slightly louder than the defunct one, but not much.

My Only NEGATIVE REVIEW Dangerous killer

Didn't last long. Fuse went out and started multiple fires. I have never had a microwave fail after 6 months and be so dangerous. I am letting the smoke out of my house now. And my bird was near the accident so I hope she doesn't die. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT to dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its ok.

We needed a microwave asap as ours caught fire after a popcorn incident. i ordered this one on sale for $99. My 2 complaints, its loud! i tried moving it around thinking maybe it wasnt sitting right on the countertop, but its still unusually loud. And its not very fast at heating up stuff. i was going to send it back but i didnt feel like messing with the return process.

The unit’s bigger than r previous one, inside and out but still fits the counter with hardly little more space taken up! It heats up things more quickly but a little less evenly (might need a few seconds more). Only have it for a short time but all in all a nice unit.

love this easy to use microwave

you probaby have to frequently refer to manual for reduced % cooking but otherwise pretty self explanatory and much loke the old, ancient, one it replaced. love the red front. rest is black but only the front shows in my location. perfect for me. easily holds a standard size plate with room to spare . love it!

Great Buy!!!

Love this microwave. Especially the inside is dark Grey instead of white. The Grey makes it sparkling clean all the time. Never have to worry about it showing stains like the white interior does. Great buy and love the dark red color.
