Beautiful Happy Colors

I do agree with some of the reviews that say the rug is more pink and purple than rust. The rug does have a good amount of rust in it though. It looks perfect with my rust colored chairs. It makes me happy to look at it because it goes with almost anything I want to decorate with and I happen to love pink. There is also blue, green, and yellow. I have had it several months and it shows no wear at all. I will be buying another one to go in my dining room.

Colors are not as pictured!

I just received this rug today for my nursery. The colors of the rug are supposed to be beautiful earthy tones with beige, deep purple, green, rusty oranges and red. However, in person this rug is very very pink! Colors are much more pastel than what is pictured. I tried to take a picture of it myself and the photo makes it look like earthy tones! So weird. If you purchase please be prepared for a lot of light pink!!

Ridiculous!

Horrible depiction of the actual colors of this rug, I honestly thought they sent me the wrong rug. I ordered the rust and this rug is PINK. It looks nothing like the photos or even the customer review photos . I’m baffled. I completely understand it’s hard to tell from pictures and I’m usually not one to right a bad review but there is no way I can use this rug, it looks like it belongs in a nursery . So disappointed and now I have to pay for shipping to return. Do not buy this rug!

girly rug- Not as shown in the picture

This rug was purple and pink with some neon orange trim. It looked like a full on girls rug. We were incredibly disappointed. And of course Rugs USA doesn't pay for their return return costs. So they will be deducing $35.00 from my return amount total. Which is hilarious considering the fault is on their side. I didn't even bother taking a picture of the rug. I didnt hate the rug for the way it looked and felt but we definitely were not looking for a rug that looked like it came out of a little girls imagination.

Excellent customer service - misleading colors

The photos of this rug are misleading. And, as we discovered, photos in our home are misleading compared to the actual color. It is pink, and magenta pink. The label even says “pink & brown” our living room is pretty bright, and in the afternoon this rug was princess pink!!! Bright magenta girls room pink. In the evening, we saw more rust tones. This rug would probably work best in a darkly lit room. The variation in colors was far too different from what we were looking for to keep the rug. We actually returned it twice because the first time we thought they sent us an entirely incorrect rug. The second time, we realized this is the actual color of the rug and didn’t want it.

Colors are way off, good customer service though

I bought this rug in Rust. It's a very soft rug, but I was disappointed with the colors. I was hoping for more deep, sophisticated colors like in the photos - rust, burgundy, dark blue, etc. I did read in the reviews that the colors are may appear muted depending on the angle/light. I just didn't think that the difference in the actual colors would be so drastic - with the light hitting the rug, it just looked very pastel and pink. On top of that, the long sides were finished terribly with a really ugly pink thread, instead of the cream color to match the fringe. I decided to return it. Mae in customer service was very prompt, responsive, and made the whole return process much easier than I expected. I greatly appreciate this.

Wrong Color Description

The one time that I did not read the reviews! As always, I love the quality and service of RugsUSA; however, I agree with the other reviews regarding the color. I purchased this rug for a well-lit sunroom, and it is definitely shades of deep reds and pinks. The stitching on the edge of the rug is even pink! I thought that I had made a mistake in ordering. The only "rust" included is on the outer portions of the rug, and I would consider those to be more of an orange. Otherwise, great quality and design!

Edessa Rust Rug

Bought this rug a few weeks ago after looking around for what seemed forever! I bought the color rust. It does have a lot of magenta and pink tones, but it also has green, orange, blue, yellow- all of which seem to balance out the pink/ magenta tones. I looked at several photos in the reviews and read the comments before I purchased. And like people have said before, it’s not exactly like advertised in photos color wise, but it‘s also not entirely off. It really is a great rug with beautiful warm tones and it is very soft. From certain angles other colors do appear lighter, but it’s not something that bothers us. We’re really happy with it. Sorry for the sideways photos. Hope they help!

More Impressive In Real Life!

I have to say, this rug is even more impressive in real life in the middle of our room. It is gorgeous and soft, with a beautiful weathered look. We are very happy with it. The colors on line are pretty accurate. We love the subtle spots of the gold / orange in the rug. The predominant colors are subtle, not shocking like some rugs when they show up. They look subtle on line and then, pow! You open the rug and colors are in your face. This rug is proud and gorgeous in a modest manner. :)

Colors not what you expect

I bought the orange and blue colored rug and only half of the rug is orange. The other is pink! It says on the website that the rug color may be different based on your computer screen so I made sure to look at it on 3 different computers. The rug came with one half the pretty orange color like the online picture shows. But the other half is pink. Also you can't vacuum this rug with the beater running. Which is another downside. I posted pictures of the orange half and two of the pink half. Will definitely be returning

I've been looking for two coordinating rugs for our first floor for over a year. I've looked everywhere and nowhere has had the selection and prices of RugsUSA. I was hesitant to order based on their return policy and also the reviews on the colors for this rug but I went for it anyway and I'm so glad I did!

Finally!

So happy to have finally found my rug! I have shopped for literally years before finding this one. I'd read so many of the previous reviews before finally purchasing this rug (rust) myself and knew it would probably be pretty pink and when it came and we unrolled it I was a little worried that it would be too bright for my taste. But it is kind of a cool rug because it changes depending on the time of day, the lighting, the way the pile is lying and it's really grown in New these last couple of weeks. I wanted color and pattern and it is perfect for that. And the quality is wonderful. Low pile but not thin and is very soft. I will be getting a rug pad but it hasn't been noticably needed. Very happy with my purchase and will be ordering from here again.

Good rug for price point

The rug is very soft and it's great for what I need it for. However it is a bit thin (though expected at this price point), and it's much more pink in color tone than what was pictured. I was expecting it to be warmer and more maroon based on the pictures. Instead it's light pink, and green predominantly. The rug is however a deeper color when the fibers are brushed up, but the fibers do not stay up (they fall very quickly under any weight). I will keep it but it's a rug for a transitional apartment (<2 years), otherwise I'd send it back.

Better than expected

This pictures online ranged from beautiful to heinous in my opinion, so this purchase was a gamble. I ordered a 9x12, and I am so happy with it. I ordered the rust color, which in my opinion is an inaccurate description. I read other reviews calling it pinkish which is also not accurate. The most prominent color is probably purple, but it's a nice rich deep purple. It's balanced with A LOT of other colors. That's what I love about the rug - it's has so much variation and dimension. It's also very soft underfoot. Overall a great rug for a decent price.
