Traditional with a Modern Flare!

I am trying to do a minor inexpensive update on my home which was built in the early 2000’s and I figure if I change out the fixtures and hardware along with staining the oak cabinets I probably could get away with spending under $1000 to bring the kitchen up to date. I chose this black Aiwen 3 light linear pendant to place over the island because it will tie in with cabinet hardware and some of the furniture in the family room. This pendant is more traditional but the globes add a modern touch. The pendant measures 30 inches in length and the height can be adjusted from 12 inches to approximately 48 inches. Included are two 12 inch and four 12 inch down rods and necessary hardware. The canopy is round so you want to make sure your ceiling box can be covered with the round canopy. This pendent uses standard E26 bulbs which are not included. I prefer clear Edison bulbs, they really add a nice touch to light fixtures with clear globes.This pendant was perfect for our space. It is traditional yet the globes add a modern flare. It’s fairly easy to install and is a nice quality for this price range. I recommend it if you want an economical way to update your kitchen. Less

Very nice 3-Light Chandelier

We put the 3-Light Black Farmhouse Chandelier above the bar in our kitchen. The chandelier is lightweight and was very easy to install. We have 9 foot ceilings so with the adjustable lengths that came with the chandelier we were able to make it the perfect height for above our bar. The hanging rods can also pivot to accommodate a vaulted ceiling if needed.

Great light for over our island

This is really a nice looking light that works well over our island in the kitchen. Installation was pretty similar to any other light fixture and only took about 10-15 minutes. They provide you with multiple down rods so you can mix and match and get pretty close to whatever length you might need. Being that they are solid rods you may have to accept it being a little higher or lower than you might want but for us this worked perfectly. The clear glass globes are beautiful and we actually got some nicer looking bulbs to put in there so it really looks sharp. All in all you cant go wrong with this fixture!

Nice looking Fixture

This island light fixture is very nice looking. The metal parts feel and look sturdy. The glass shades are relatively thick making handling them easier. This is appreciated when it comes to cleaning the glass shades too. The fixture can use basically any type of light bulb - regular or decorative. The shade is wide enough so that you can easily add and remove the bulbs.
