Everything about this table is what I wanted except for the color of the "cherry" wood. It is very orange and just won't work in my room. The table is sturdy and not too difficult to put together - although I needed my husband to place the table top on the pedestal, which is understandable. Love the color of the black portion. I called Hayneedle to let them know the color of the table top was not accurate in the picture. They refunded me 25% off the price I paid. I wish they could have provided a better fix but I'm happy they did something. Think I'll have to paint the top black to get rid of the orange. By the way, it is advertised as black and cherry. Not cherry in my opinion.

Very impressed with this table!

The only reason I didn't give this table 5 stars is because it was missing one washer and has one screw hole that is stripped out, so we have to do some extra work to get that fixed. Other than that, it's a great table! The butterfly leaf works smoothly and it went together very well.

Better looking in person

I had a very dull white kitchen table and now I have a beautiful piece of furniture that I love, and looks great. Everybody wants to sit around it and talk. It is the perfect height for buffet type gatherings.
