Takes "AA" NOT "c" batteries like stated, The placement of the power buttons on the can lead them to turn off all the time. Leak holes in bottom aren't helpful.
If it drops or falls down it can be hard to place the lid back on.
They worked well for about a year and then they would randomly open and close when no one was around or would stop working even with new batteries. Not worth the price.
I liked how one can was shipped inserted into each other in one box.

I love my trash can. I dont find myself cleaning the lid a hundred times a day because my hands were dirty had to open it. Got the 2 pack in real, gave my sister one. She loves hers too. Want one in every room in my house.

I love the color and fit perfectly where I needed it to.
It's cute but that's the only thing it has going for it. This trash can is so cheaply made. The lid and the gray plastic piece that holds the trash bag in place are so flimsy and fragile. I tried to return this as soon as I opened it but since it would end up costing money to do that, I decided to keep it and give it a use until it broke. I just set it up today and put 4 new batteries in it and lo and behold the lid opened and closed maybe a dozen times before it used up all the battery power and needed new batteries. This is not worth your money.
