This light bulb worked very well with all the other bulbs of this type in my home.

Had to replace a very expensive Feit bulb, guaranteed to last a long, long time because of a short in the bulb that was causing flickering on the circuit. Bulb lasted 4 1/2 years. The old style incandescent B-40’s lasted an average of 9 years at 1/4th the cost. Go figure.

Short Life

Good price, but 2 failing about the same time after a few years is disappointing. Advertised to last "up to" 22 years. I think incandescent would have lasted longer. Like to buy from my local hardware store but, will have to try GE for a couple of dollars more per pair.

These light bulbs are great! They produce the right amount of bright, warm light in my kitchen. They are larger so they fit the can lighting so much better than previous lightbulbs.

BR40 LED Floodlight

Plenty of light even with the soft white type I purchased. The BR40s are used if you have a 6-inch opening for your floodlight bulb. If you have a 4-inch opening, use the BR30 which is a smaller diameter. I have found the FEIT brand to be reliable on both my purchases of it so far. Haven't had as good luck with the other brand stocked in Home Depot stores. Paid a little more for FEIT (not stocked in the store) but got free shipping.

The FEIT 120-watt daylight LED floodlight is a nice light. I'm not knowledgeable of the FEIT brand but the bulbs look and feel well built. They were packaged very well and are very bright. Since I have them in the outside motion sensing floodlight, I don't have a way to test the dimmable part but other dimmable LED's that I have dim very well. I recommend these bulbs.

I have a recess ceiling fixture in the middle of my living area of my house. The house has a pretty steeply vaulted ceiling, and I need a 10 foot long ladder to get to the bulb. I am not the youngest of all persons anymore, and I am a female and not that strong anyway to haul a 10 foot ladder in and out of my living area all the time to replace a broken bulb. because of these restrictions, I did not use this light at all. I now came across these LED bulbs that are nice and bright, and should last for quite a while. I now have this central light working again, and I hope very much that it will last a couple of years, and provide nice light for me.

Finally a solution to lighting problems for our below ground level game room. Lighting a large area partially below ground is a real challenge. We've tried other led bulbs and the room still felt dark and cavernous, something just felt off with the lighting. I was excited to try the Feit Electric 120 WATT BR40 Dimmable bulbs in Daylight and they made a huge difference. The lighting looks as close to natural light as possible. I even took a few pictures and they turned out great without the usual color cast. They are energy efficient and will last many years. We are so happy with the lighting and will be purchasing enough to do the entire level. I highly recommend these bulbs.

I am impressed that these lamps dim so well on a standard rotary dimmer. Very smooth dimming results when I turned the dimmer knob. I appreciate the light bulbs are completely sealed all of the way around. The lamps are light weight. I weighed one on my postage scale and it weighed in at a mere 6 ounces. I measured the power used with my power usage meter and it measured 13.7 watts. Overall these are sturdy, lightweight and energy efficient light bulbs with smooth dimming capabilities.

As it is next to impossible to get incandescent light bulbs or floods in California, I have spent a lot of time looking for something that would do the trick and at least kind of give me the light I needed. I found these Feit Electric floods and am extremely pleased with them. They give off really good light and are essentially indistinguishable from the 'regular' flood I had in there. They are a good replacement, and have a rated lifetime of over 20 years. Only drawback is that they can take a second to light up, especially when they are cold, but once warmed up they light instantaneously. Definitely recommended.

I purchased 16 of the Feit Enhance BR40 65w equivalent 3000k bulbs for our kitchen, dining, and living room. After swapping in these new bulbs there are huge color differences between bulbs (even two bulbs from the same box!). Thinking I was crazy, or the windows were causing a hallucination, I proceeded to swap bulbs around various locations of the house and comparing (images included). Some look like 2700k and others look closer to 4000k or even 5000k. Two bulbs were replacing another brand 2700k bulbs and the Feit 3000k bulbs are even more yellow than those!

Since the switch to LED, finding a bulb that isn't either a cold ghostly blue white or a "warm" cat sick yellowish white has been a real pain. I had to replace my two old incandescent Feit bathroom spotlights after what I swear has been more than 10 years. They were 75 watts each. I called Feit and spoke with Eduardo who sent me a link to the 120 watt LED bulbs but I knew they would be blindingly bright so he suggested the 65 watt instead. I just installed them and they're perfect! The color isn't bluish nor yellowish. They're a bit brighter than the old 75 watt incandescent but that's fine because they're a soft bright white. I'm delighted and hope they last as long as the old ones did.

For my taste...the daylight is a bit too bright in a kitchen and the 75 watt bulbs were also too bright. The 65W Bright whites are great! they are immediately full-on (max brightness) with the LEDs where other bulbs have to come up to brightness more slowly. with free shipping from Home depot to my house...can't beat em.

Needed to wait two months to write this review. I wrote the review on these dimmable LED bulbs. The are working great. I love the effect of LED on my house. The difference in LED lights and regular bulbs is amazing. I have lots of my neighbors that visit by and see the difference in the lights and comment how much they like the lighting effect. Can not tell how long they will last but hoefully be a long time since I do use them daily.

The BR40 Bright White bulbs are excellent source for bright lighting in any work area of you home or garage. They provide more lighting in our pot lights in my wife's sewing room. The bright white and daylight bulbs help matching colors with fabric and thread much easier than under warm white bulbs. The BR40 bulbs hang slightly lower than the BR30 bulbs since they are slightly larger. This gives more light per fixture in the room.
