Outdated Technology

Does not work with 5G Wi-Fi, only 2.4. I purchased two but will be returning one to the store because we had not mounted it yet. (It is in the instructions but it should be on the box so that you know that it's outdated technology.)

No son… No problem.

After a couple of rainy, cloudy days, my solar floodlights stopped working. Hardwire was the way to go. The FEIT motion, floodlights work perfectly, almost 3 times illumination,, motion, sensing, and lastly, tunable dimmable FEIT brightness. I need a consistent Lys source to light up dark driveway and foot pads around my house. Great product.

Avoid this light at all costs

I wanted to like this product, but a motion sensor light that does not sense motion is pretty bad. Customer service is both slow and useless.

Flexable and adaptable motion-sensing porch lamp

Easy to install. It was a bit tricky to program, but the number of features added to the complexity. My favorite feature was being able to adjust the color temperture, but I was happy to see that I could also adjust the sensitivty using the phone application.

My Electrician said this was a really nice product and so easy to install, the price was so reasonable on sale at Walmart. It works well and is a well-designed product.

It has motion issues....

Calling the company next week but as I see it. If u setup alexa or google to turn it on or off thats it!! No more motion light. Either completely on or completely off. Disabled alexa, going to see if stays in motion mode.

Difficult device

Had good wifi, and followed the directions to a 'T'. After five tries I decided to take it back. The reset button inside was way off and hard to get to.

Exactly what you need from a smart Floodlight

easy to install with clear instructions and app works great. Recommend this to upgrade your floodlights and be able to control it with the app or Alexa.

Loses its connection to wi-fi.

I didn't order this online, I bought in store. Found out it uses Wi-Fi and had to load an app on my phone to work this thing. Not a fan of this technology, but thought I would give it a try. Installed about 20' from wi-fi router. Finally got it connected and programmed. Worked for a few days, then all of the sudden was blinking again one night (that indicates it is in its pairing mode). So I had to re-connect to my wi-fi because somehow it lost its connection. A couple of nights later, same thing. Also it seems to be a major chore to find any instructions for the app. Had to figure it out on my own. If it would have held its connection and continued to work, this would have gotten a 4.

It operates using Wifi!

I needed a strong light for an area a short distance from my house. This light is not good for it. It operates using Wifi! Seriously? It would make sense if there were a choice but no, it's wifi or nothing. Notice in the name of the product it says nothing about this. Installation was a nightmare - only to find out it'll never work where I wanted it. Total waste of money.

Not right for me

I was going to put this up to replace an old floodlight that just goes on & off by switch, but when I opened the electric box I saw it was an unusual wiring, like another area in my home so I called for an electrician. Getting ready for him to come, I read the paperwork more thoroughly, and realized I don’t want a light operated by my wi-fi which probably wouldn’t even work because it’s at the very furthest point from this back garage door. It also seems like it would be only motion sensor (I might be wrong about that), and as cold as it is this winter, I do not want to need to step out to wave my arms like I must do for the one installed on my patio ten years ago. I tried the Feit website, but found lots of info regarding their camera floods, but nothing pertaining to just floods. For those who want a totally controllable home-of-the-future, this is undoubtedly it, and Feit is an excellent company.

I don't know if I did something wrong while wiring or this light came defective. I installed it during the day so I could test it out at night. The lights didn't turn on. Then the next day I uninstalled it to check the wires, but it looked like I did it correctly. I'll have to ask a handyman to install it for me.
