Incorrect item and lots of Angst with online order

This is not a review of the item, but of Walmart. I ordered a 2 pack filtrete filter and was shipped a one pack.. I filed for a return and ordered that same item again and the second time they again shipped me a one pack. I chatted with an agend named Shahrukh who told me that since I ordered a two pack and now had ben shipped two one packs that they would put in the system that i would not return the items and would NOT be billed twice. Four days later I received notice from Walmart to return the item or I would be billed. I called Walmart and it took several minutes to get a real person. They told me the only think I could do is return both and get credited. Walmart has since changed their online description of the item. They should have honored the price they had online for the twopack. It is sensless since now they are paying for two returns of large filters.

Size doesn’t fit! The actual size exceeds the specified measurements because of some sponge-like things on the sides of the box. Fins arrives bent. Poor quality all around.

Orders are always wrong.

The filter looks good but I returned it before using. My order was for 2 filters but I only received one. I returned the single filter and ordered two more. Again I only received one, so I returned that one too. I had not read the reviews prior to ordering, but it appears that many customers have had the same missing filter experience. Does anyone at Walmart read these reviews?

One small problem

Great filter however it’s about an 1/8 of an inch to wide for my furnace. A little hard getting it in and has to be ripped apart to get it out. I have found to local dealer that as a filter that works. Can find them only on line.

Description says 2 filters but i received only 1

Check the size

Even though it states it’s a 16x25x5, it’s much larger than a normal 16x25x5. Not sure how it can vary in size being listed as a 16x25x5 but doesn’t work at all. Also ordered a two pack, however only one came. The positive is that Walmart refunded my order, however I’m still in the same boat with no new filter.

Got 1/2 of what I paid for.

Item was advertised as a 2-pack of filters. I ordered 2 packs, which should have been a total of 4 filters. I only received 2 single filters. That means I only received half of my order. Still waiting for Walmart to make things right.

Falsely advertised - do not buy

Never knew I needed to look at reviews on air filters…. Like everyone else, I also received a single filter instead of the 2-pack advertised. I purchased 3x of the 2 packs so I should have received 6 total and the photos are what was delivered. You can see they also sent me a different, non-comparable item that was crushed in the box even though the box was perfect - meaning they placed a crushed item in the box knowingly and shipped it anyways.

Product info is incorrect!

Both the product description and the product images clearly indicate that this is two filters. It is only one! The filter itself is fine, and is the correct item, but I would not have paid this much if I had known it was just a single filter.

Nice filter direct replacement

Very good filter as a direct replacement for the Honeywell. Be careful as there is another filter with same overall dimensions as the “slim line”. I didn’t read the smaller print that the dimensions are different t.

Don't buy this; buy Ultravation

I believe the filter material is fine, but construction is TERRIBLE. Pleats should be EVENLY spaced across the face of the filter, however the factory people glued the pleat ends helter-skelter across the sides so the openings are either pinched off or too wide. This reduces the effective filtration area and shortens filter life. Also the filter is a little short to fit in my Ultravation in-line housing and air would easily bypass the slim foam strip on top of the 3M filter. I had to add a strip of thick foam insulation to the filter top to prevent bypass. Next time I will purchase my original Ultravation filter since it fits better, is much better constructed with even pleats and has better looking media. More expensive, but better service. Don't reward 3M's lack of quality control by purchasing their product.

We will buy this product going forward!

I have always had allergies. My husband developed them when we moved into our house five years ago. We had the ductwork cleaned but that didn't solve everything. It was suggested that we remove the air cleaner but going forward we would need to use a 5" thick filter. We found Sylvane when our only store that carried them ran out during the pandemic. We are glad they ran out! The filter from Sylvane has a snug fit. We didn't realize the previous filter could fit better - we thought it was as good as it could be. This one is perfect! The air is now being filtered properly, allergies are better for both of us, and we have had less asthma issues as well.
