This heater for my covered patio is excellent.!!!! It more than met my expectations. Easy to assemble and operate, I love it! the only problem was the box it arrived in had water damage. It actually delaminated after I unpacked the unit which was damp. A tribute to the unit and its functioning in spite of this.

Vendor packaging was covered in MOLD!!!!
I was SO EXCITED to order this fire pit! However, when it arrived it was in a box that had CLEARLY experienced water damage and was then taped up. One side of the box was caved in and split open - OH, and as a bonus the entire inside of the box was filled with MOLD! I wouldn't even bring it into my home. I'm not sure what kind of Quality Control is happening over at FLAME KING but, you all need to get it together as not only is the item unusable the packaging is DANGEROUS to those will allergies...

This was the keast expensive fire pit of its type that I could find online, and wow, I am glad I got it. Somply put: It works jist like you would expect. They even give you an extra bag of lava rocks. It puts off great heat and as the description/box says, there is no detectable smoke. I plan to use this all winter. Very, very happy with the purchase.
