Disappointed

The chairs were ok. They had some scratches on them. The color did not match my table. I wanted to send them back and get ones that matched but turns out it was going to cost more than half what I paid for the chairs to start with. Shipping plus 35% restocking fee.

Good. Hair, terrible packaging and damage

The chairs were just banging against each other in the box causing scratches, marks, dents and worn off stain. Whoever put them in the box needs to go work at Snappy Stop.

I purchased 4 chairs to go with the expandable table that seats 4, 6, or 8. The chairs are very sturdy and fold easily for storage. We live in a NYC apt that lacks a formal eating area; the living room is large enough to accommodate this option for guests. The chairs look fashionable and are durable. Great purchase!

There are perfect! I needed nicer chairs to use at home when I have large family gatherings and these are perfect. i bought the dark colored ones. Love them

Awesome...these chairs are great, no assembly required... just open the box, unfold the chairs and Voila. They match my bar stools color perfectly. And you can fold them back after use for more space. Good buy.

Great Surprise

I live in Manhattan where space is a premium. I bought a beautiful old drop leaf table to use as a dining room table when needed. The problem was-no room for 4 additional chairs in the apartment.

Not enough padding

The seats aren’t very comfy, there’s hardly any padding. But they came fully built, they’re bigger than I expected, seem sturdy, and they fold up out of my way. A good chair to keep around for extra seating, not good enough to sit in at the dining table every night.

I have never seen such an incredibly poorly made pair of chairs in my life. The seats looked like my toddler crafted them with a pair of lefty scissors. The seat pads were crooked and mounted off center on both chairs. Arrived scratched up and so rickety neither of us trusted them enough to even sit in them. Do not recommend.

Safety Hazard

My 3 year old daughter has outgrown her high chair, and we need to buy a new dining table to fit our family. In the meanwhile, I thought this chair would be a temporary solution. Wrong! This chair is not safe for children. The seat does not lock into place. If too much weight is placed at the back of the seat, the seat will fold in (think of a movie theater seat that automatically folds in without weight on the front half). My daughter slipped backwards and got her foot caught in the hinge, crushing her second toe. It is awful! I regret ever letting her sit in that chair.

Elegant frame but not for sitting

This folding chair is very solid and sturdy. The wooden frame is beautiful and elegant for a folding chair. However, the pad is as awful as the frame is nice. It has a permanent crease from where it meets the frame and is so thin, it's very uncomfortable for any sitting longer than 5 minutes.

Sturdy and purdy

Bought a pack of two black chairs. Overall, great chairs for a fair price- they look as I had expected from the website photos. 4 stars since one chair had a tiny nick on the back revealing the wood (10 mm long, 3 mm wide). Super tiny chip, but nonetheless, a chip. Covered with permanent marker and can no longer see the chip.

Disappointed

For the money the chairs are not a great value. The wood is pretty, but they look used not new. The chairs arrived in a timely manner however, I had to wipe off dust and one chair is scratched. Also one of the chairs has uneven legs and wobbles. Probable OK for children. seat area is very small.

This is the third pack of these chairs that we have purchased. We are in interior design, event planning corporation. These chairs are substantial, priced properly, and they travel very well. We tend to use construction bags to carry two chairs at a time making personal storage extremely easy.

One of the chairs cracked the second day of use. My wife weighs 125 pounds and it cracked the second day of her use. I gorilla glued it an clamped it and I suppose we will see what happens. You pays your money and you takes your chances. I would suggest that no one who weighss over 200 pounds should trust these chairs. I use the other and it is fine.

Very handsome chairs

I got the mahogany folding chairs. They arrived well-packaged in just a week. I had redone the room and needed to fit 4 chairs in a small space, so I chose folding chairs so they could be put out of the way when we weren't using them. The chairs I ordered looked very nice and are comfortable. Most of all, they fold up -- all four-- into about 6 inches wide, so I can put them in a cubby hole. Great buy. I can't believe I got four for about $100. I'd recommend this for anyone who needs 4 chairs in a small space.

Really nice padded folding chairs

No installation required. Padded seats are more comfortable for guests when you need more seating space. Guests have commented on the padding. Really pleased. Would definitely recommend these to anyone needing extra card table sized chairs.

Great Value and Look Great Too

I purchased two of the chairs. They came right away and were perfect as extra chairs for my dining table. I have already used them twice. The fold absolutely flat so are very easy to store. My friend loved them and also bought two and we agreed that we could trade them back and forth if we needed more matching chairs at our tables.
