Great outdoor stool for the price! Comfortable!

I bought this stool based on the color option, weight limit, and the fact that it was for outdoor use. The color is fantastic The stool is lightweight and therefore easy to move from one area to the next. The holes in the middle of the seat are great for water drainage when it rains. The seat is a comfortable size as well as the angle of the backrest. The shipping was fast and assembly was easy. I also encountered a problem where only 4 of the six stools that I had ordered were shipped. Zoro's customer service was quick to act to resolve the issue and my other two stools arrived about a week later so very pleased with Customer Service. i would recommend this stool - wish it came in more colors!!!!

Small Seat but overall great stool - great colors!

I bought this stool based on the color options, weight limit, and the fact that it was for outdoor use. The colors are fantastic (I bought all different colors of this stool to be used at our outdoor tiki bar). The stools are lightweight and therefore easy to move from one area to the next. The hole/handle in the middle of the seat makes carrying and drainage for rain great. I gave the stool 4 stars due to the size of the seat itself and the design of the back. The seat is small and honestly just a few inches off of being more comfortable. The bars that attach the back rest come up the sides of the stool which is a little uncomfortable on the hips for larger people. The back also is tilted just a little too far back. When sitting up the stool it is not bad but if you lean into the backrest you start to slide off the stool as you really need to lean back to hit the backrest. If the seat was bigger and the backrest was angled upright a little more I would have definitely given 5 stars! I am however keeping them due to color choices, weight capacity and they work for what we need them for. The shipping was fast and assembly was easy. This is a better stool than it is a chair

The quality and look is great. The design, not so much.

Decent but not amazing.

Decent for the price - there were flaws in the finish and I did receive some replacements with no questions asked. It's a fairly light weight stool. You do see silver screws exposed after assembly (visible in photo). An improvement would be screws that m match the finish and that would make them look a little better overall. They serve their purpose on an apartment rooftop deck where we didn't want anything too valuable. Also they were selected because they have a high weight limit.

Sturdy and very cute chair!

I am so happy I got this Green Stool. I love everything about it. The heigh is perfect. It has held up to my kids moving it and playing with it along with sitting on it. It came with a teak wood topper. I didn't not love the way it looked. It seemed a little fake. A more wood like look would have been better. Also, even if I liked the teak wood the holes did not line up to attach it. I called about getting a new one. They were happy to send it but it came with the holes not even close to matching up again to screw it in. If you are going to get this just don't bank on the topper working. I think it still looks cute without it though.

Looks great

This chair was easy to assemble and looks great. It matches my kit hen and allows my large family to eat at the bar vs the table. I love the rugged yet clean look and it holds my 3yr old all the way up to my an adult. We can all sit comfortable and the assembly was simple. Takes less then 5 min to assemble and the seat looks great though it's a bit hard. We all agree a cushion would be nice. Overall it's a great product with great potential.

Retro greatness

I couldn’t resist when I first saw this chair and it’s obvious retro look. These look like those trendy diner chairs that catch your eye. I really love that they come in so many colors and you can mix and match the stool and seat to suit your color scheme or whim. It’s sturdy metal and well coated and painted wood. I thought the four screws and washers might be difficult to line up but it’s perfectly cut to fit and it wasn’t difficult to wiggle the screws in and lightly twist each one into place before fully, but not too tightly, screw them all in. It feels super sturdy which can be difficult to find in a barstool but the rubber feet make it amenable to floors that aren’t perfectly level. Also keeps it from slipping and scratching surfaces. I’m not getting any wiggle from snug assembly. These look like they would hold up well outdoors and sustain some inclement weather if forgotten a time or two but would last much better indoors or on fair weather outdoor use. Wood can swell and split with extreme temp changes and metal can get very cold and hot. And I wouldn’t use them in grass but a covered patio area would really look amazing with these. Overall, I’m really impressed with these and I can see them work well bought in bulk too. I think you really get a good reliable chair in these and who doesn’t love a chair that attracts a positive response? I personally use it at my craft desk, sometimes as an extra work surface as much as a chair.

Stylish and Comfortable!

This chair is pretty cool looking! I love the design and look of it. It was pretty simple to put together. A few screws and it was done. The backrest leans back at a slight angle so it feels good against my back and is comfortable to sit on. It is a nice height and works great at the bar. It feels strong and seems to be well built. I really like it!

Perfect

These chairs were exactly what I was looking for. The seat itself is small but I knew that. You can either put the back on the chairs or not. If you do you can NOT stack them. Just wanted a small seating area. These were perfect since I use them for my balcony which is often times windy so not always out there but when I have guests they have seats. Didnt want bulky high top stuff.

I like the chair but oh my

This Chair is very pretty and very well made. It is however a pain in the rear to put the seat on. It took all of my force and a longer screw to get it to bend to the correct spot to attach the smaller screws into the holes enough to get a bite then I had to back the longer one out and use the provided screw. Once it was together it looks great.

Well made

I love the color and the whole look of this stool. It is well made and very sturdy. It looks very nice in our family room now and I can't wait to use it outdoors in the spring on the patio. The color is a very bright and pretty washed yellow and the seat is a great addition to the stool. It adds a very finished look to the stool. I did have to get longer screws to attach the seat to the stool but all in all putting it together could not be easier.

Nice chair

I love this chair! It’s stylish and comfortable! However, I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the assembly. This should have been able to be assembled in under 5 mins but when trying to attach the grey seat to the metal part, the screws were not long enough to reach to the seat. After trying and trying, I had to end up stepping on the metal part to get it to lay flat enough for the screws to hold. After the seat was in place, affixing the back was a breeze. The instructions also were not very detailed. Self explanatory but some words would have been helpful.

Classically Beautiful

This chair is so nice and the red gives me a pop of color I adore. Very easy to assemble and sturdy. My husband isn’t a small man and has a bad back, he found this chair very comfortable. It’s not too high either and looks great at the counter. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable this seat is. Normally metal isn’t that comfortable but found I could sit in this chair for long periods of time with no issues.

Well made and super cute

I absolutely love this barstool. It gives the right amount of rustic farmhouse but could go well with many other decors. The green color is perfect! I do live in an 1880s log home, this looks just right on my front porch. I'm purchasing another to pair with it. It's well made and sturdy. It's very comfortable to sit in.

Cool for the garage

I have decided to use this in the garage because it sits up high and is a bit more hefty and sturdy to be able to sit at a work bench to do work. There is a wood piece to go on the seat but it doesn’t fit right. It’s square and the seat isn’t. That confused me a bit. I love the color though, a little rustic and looks like it has been used for years. So the garage seems like a perfect spot. It was easy to put together and doesn’t wobble when sat on. The back is sturdy. Overall it’s a good chair, just leave the wood off.

Cute!

This bar stool is very cute. It took all of 5 min to put it together. It's sturdy enough to hold adults and is very comfortable. I actually like it more without the wood seat. I love that it also has the slide proof feet. The only thing we had trouble with was putting the wood seat on. The screws that came with it were too short. We decided to just leave it off. But even that wood piece was nice and heavy.

"Don't lock it too tight"

When I thought I was done tightening the bolts on the wooden seat cover, I was going to move the stool, so it was upright, but heard the washers move around. I tightened it until they stopped moving, but heard cracking from the wooden seat cover. The bolts are so long that they pushed all the way through, which damaged the seat cover. I looked through the instructions and noticed that they included "Don't lock it too tight" as a warning, so you wouldn't do that.

If you are looking for a sturdy, well made, very inexpensive high stool for outdoor service that is easy to put together, this might be for you. The single downside I see is the obvious one --- the seat is hard. I just want one to sit on for my morning coffee that is high enough to look out over our lake without having to peer through our deck railing. It works perfectly for that purpose, and I'm not out there long enough for the seat to get really uncomfortable. I'll happily recommend it for short duration use. If you intend to spend longer times seated on your stool, you might what to look at a style with a softer seat.

Seat is small

I wanted to love this but I’m not impressed at all. For starters the seat is very small. I’m a size six and I feel like it is too small for me. They only sent four screws because you only need four screws but one of the screws was not perfect so it would not screw in correctly. Extra screws cost little money. Throw in an extra one please. The frame for the back scratched the base as I was putting it together because it was tight. Thankfully this was already a distressed look but I can imagine the smooth finished version. I love the look of it and it is sturdy but from there I’m highly disappointed with it for the price.
