I have to check on when I ordered this chair. I know it was over a year ago. I weigh 115 lbs and am the only one using the chair. It has split in two places and had to put black duct tape over them. It looks terrible. Have to get rid of it as it is predominant in my office.

The back and seat of these stools are way off the mark. A grown or a larger person will not be able to sit on these stools comfortably. Not suitable for what I intended them to be used for(seating for my kitchen island). I gave them to my eleven and six years old grandsons they think they are cool! Not a good fit and not so cool for 67 years old grandma. My back and behind need more room for comfort. I didn't return because I opened the box after thirty days(had to wait for help putting them together) plus it would have been too costly to ship back.

Best product for the price

I did a ton of research on stools before purchasing these. Got 3 of them. They are the best items for the price. They were pretty easy to assemble, but- make sure you take of the black caps on the top bar. Otherwise you will need to tap it out after the top is put on. The black caps are protecting the seat pressure adjustor. The direction diagram isn't explicit. Aside from that, they are a solid option for anyone that likes chrome on the base and isn't looking for heavy cushioned seats. I recommend these stools.

I reviewed these chairs a day or so after I got them, but now living with them for little while I decided to return them. I tried to like them, nice price and they are sturdy - it's just that they are extremely uncomfortable. Very hard and the bottom of the seat is very short, so your legs feel unsupported. I am also still bothered by the chairs arriving with dark stains on them - like grease or ink. Most of it came off with a little scrubbing with water and detergent - but who wants to scrub brand new chairs?? In all fairness, maybe very small framed people will find these comfortable, but they didn't work for us.
