The chair was easy to put together, it is soft and comfortable. I love it.

This chair was pretty easy to put together, only took about 20 minutes total. It's relatively light too. I think getting the zippers right probably take the most work! It's comfortable, too. The recline is very smooth but it's pretty tight when I push the leg rest down. It's pretty compact so it fits in tighter spaces but it's roomy enough for me to sit comfortably laying across it. My daughter really likes it a lot. I will say it's pretty fragile. My cat started poking holes in in the minute she jumped onto it. If you treat it with care, it's a great option!

Nice recliner soft comfortable. This is a recliner for a smaller person. Height and weight should be considered when purchasing this recliner. Also easy assembly.

Had to order it online. Not happy with it. It's to low to the ground. Seems like material is cheap. To much money for this.

Chair is made for a person who is no more taller than 5"5. The back of chair is cozy but seat portion is hard.

It’s comfortable and very easy to put together.

UPDATE: 7/29/22 - STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAUX (FAKE) LEATHER SOFA: It didn't last 3 years before the *leather* started peeling off with less than 20% daily use, and producing endless pieces of the fake leather all over the floors of the house. Overstock was uncooperative with getting the issue resolved and directed me to the shipper who, in turn, pointed me back to Overstock. UPDATE: 9/13/2021 covering on this chair which as I mention in my original review is called LeatherSoft is a synthetic covering. It's not supposed to flake and peel. Well I have to say that I've had this chair less than the warranty period (5 years) and almost all of the coating on the parts such as the arm rests, the back rest, and the seat have completely mostly flaked away and are continuing to flake away. This was not supposed to happen. So I recommend you to NOT purchase this chair or the related Love-seat and the same 3-seat with two adjustable seats sofa. I will be contacting Overstock about this and will update when possible. First, I should mention that this item comes in a single box. SHIPPING: The box itself is well protected from the usual things. NARROW DOOR: This recliner chair comes disassembled so If you have a narrow door to get through you will have absolutely no problem. I was able to get the box through a 29" doorway without issue. ASSEMBLY: You don't need any tools whatsoever to assemble this recliner. The main parts of the recliner are actually pre-built and the assembly amounts to zipping together the back cushions together and zipping that onto the back rest, in turn the back rest snaps into place onto the main recliner seat. There are also a left and right back piece that slips down on the center back rest. Then finally the left and right arm rests to zipper the main section of the recliner. At first there will seem like lots of pieces but there is an instruction sheet that shows the pieces and how they go together. Admittedly, there are no written instructions so you have to use some imagination, but it's really not hard at all. CONSTRUCTION: I was impressed with the quality construction of this chair: solid wood and the recliner mechanism was heavy-duty steel with high quality springs. Overall, it's a very solidly built piece of furniture. The "leather" is not genuine leather - that would have raised the price to at least 4 or 5 times - but the quality of the "leather" on my chair seems very good. I've had faux-leather furniture before and I must admit, this chair's leather seems to be of a much higher quality. LEATHER: The description for the covering says "Leather": There are various forms leather. Unless it says genuine leather it is not real leather: However, I asked Overstock to investigate this and was informed that the material is LeatherSoft. You can Google LeatherSoft and see what it is. LeatherSoft is made of real leather and PU (polyurethane) and is the highest quality leather covering next to actual leather you can get. LeatherSoft is not supposed to flake or peel like faux-leather does. I think you will be impressed with the quality of the "leather" on this chair. One other point I should mention: I ordered Black color. There is also a Brown. Now Ironically, I also ordered the 3-seat matching sofa (also black) which comes in 3 pieces, and somehow one of the pieces for the sofa arrived damaged (which Overstock is taking care of) but interestingly I had to inspect the item for damage and saw that I received a brown colored piece for a black piece of the sofa. The point of me mentioning this is that the brown material seems to be of lessor quality than the black. The black is a heavier quality where as the brown is thinner - both are good, but I preferred the heavier black. So while both are fine, I would suggest that if you can live with black order it instead of the brown. RECLINER MECHANISM: The mechanism is manual and activated by pulling out a latch on the right side. The mechanism works well and when pulled your feet will be raised. And the foot rest allows your entire foot to rest on it. However, while the mechanism is very solid, the back part that reclines is a bit stiff: getting the back to recline was not too easy and takes a bit of effort, but it works. I would attribute this somewhat to the mechanism being new and perhaps over time and use it will become a bit more flexible. If you feel a bit techy I would suggest you use just a dab of some 3-IN-1 oil on the joints of the mechanism which you can access from underneath which will help a bit with making the movement a bit more fluid. Otherwise, if you're not comfortable applying some oil just leave it as-is. COMFORT: I would rate this chair as being comfortable, though there probably are more comfortable chairs out there. I am 5' 11.5' tall, which is average height and I found the chair comfortable. Getting into and out of a reclined position takes just a bit of effort, but as I mentioned the recliner mechanism was new and stiff. CARE OF LEATHER: As previously stated, the material covering used is LeatherSoft even though it merely states "Leather" in the description. Since this is not genuine leather (which can last very long if properly cared for). Do not sit on this chair with any sharp objects in your pockets, and of course, do not let any pets at all - especially a cat that has not been de-clawed - to get onto it. Be careful if you have toddlers that like to climb up on things with tiny sharp objects. Do NOT place this chair near a heat source such as an open flame or a radiator because over time the hot dry air will dry out the surface and can cause premature breakdown and cracking. Unfortunately, other than the single sheet on assembly there are no instructions on how to care for the leather covering. However, I would suggest that you use a Faux Leather Conditioner before you actually put the chair into use: There are various types and brands of leather conditioner you can find on *** but keep in mind one thing: You should NOT use any leather cleaner or conditioner for real leather. Real leather cleaner and conditioners need to penetrate the surface, and with a faux-leather material there is no real surface to penetrate and so it might just sit on the surface. I found a cleaner conditioner that is designed for faux leather including vinyl and bonded leather called Trinova Faux Leather Conditioner and Cleaner, which you can find on *** It comes in an 18 oz plastic spray container that should last a long time - follow the instruction that come with it - but before applying it to the entire chair, first apply it on a test area: you can use the back-flap of the chair which is out of sight just in case the cleaner causes the color to change. SUMMARY: Other than the stiffness of the recliner mechanism which should ease-up over time with regular use, this is a very attractive and solidly constructed recliner chair that should last a long time if you take care of the "leather". I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Overstock's price was quite a buy.

Definitely smaller then I thought it would be. I feel like I’m sitting on top of it not sitting in it. It’s comfortable and looks great but it’s a bit small I’m 6’3 200pounds someone else on here said same size an said the chair was great. If I was able to sit in the chair in a store I would not of bought

handle broke

Wont recline anymore, barely used it. Will not buy furniture from Lowes again.

Recliner good buy for the price.

I ordered this for my senior father for our den where he watches tv and reads Very well made for the price. Easy to clean just use damp cloth. Good for a smaller room does not take up much space Easy to assemble

Chair was great super comfy. Only issue was description stated rocker and it was not. Overstock gave us a partial refund to keep the chair for the error which was awesome!!

It's definitely smaller than I thought and I feel like I already feel a spring in the cushion. I don't think it will hold up for a long time. And a year later, it already stopped reclining.
