Well made, but uncomfortable unless you enjoy being bolt upright.

On the plus side, this chair has great back support. On the minus side, it has too MUCH back support. I like to put my feet up and lean back a little when sitting, and the chair fought me every inch of the way. It required constant pushing to keep the back reclined even the slightest bit. It claims in the owner’s manual to have a tilt feature, which would help, but it does not tilt at all, nor is there any tilt lever as shown in the 1500 TM owner’s manual. The recline feature itself is way too stiff-- the chair will not cooperate if you want to lean back a bit. If I did manage it through sheer force, the lumbar support moved higher on my back due to lack of a tilt feature. This was causing backaches. Even without the backaches, I found it exhausting to have to constantly push against it to keep my “relaxed” position. I replaced it with the Hyken chair, which does have a tilt feature that moves with you if you want to change position. On the plus side, customer support was great.

Comfortable

Needed an office chair for my home office due to my sciatica acting up. This was similar to my office chair so I bought it. Great adjustments makes it work exactly as I needed. Also, the wheels allow it to run nicely over my area rug. Back pain has been diminished. While on the higher end, it was worth it.

I have been using this chair at my office for years and when it was time to buy a new chair for my home office, I couldn't find a chair that felt as good. It's a terrific chair for me. I'm short with lumbar issues. The chair supports me perfectly.

Great for back

I feel in command of my work day sitting in this chair. My feet don't touch the ground, but a yoga block for a footrest is perfect.

I needed a chair that was higher than most (my keyboard drawer broke - didn't want to replace the entire desk). This fit the bill. Adjustable height to over 23", adjustable arms. Perfect for my needs.

At first, the seat was stiff and made my legs and butt numb. I was mad that I spent $400 on an chair that was unsatisfactory.

Fantastic Chair

I've owned this chair since sometime in 2016-2017. I used to do a lot of work from home in my office and got sick of the padded leather/etc chairs that would go flat in weeks to months. When I decided to finally splurge a bit, this was the chair that felt the most natural to me. I still have this chair, possibly would pick up a second as I prefer it to the couch more often than not in the living room. The adjustability and the mesh that never seems to wear out make this (as far as I've found) the best purchase for a chair. My mother has a Herman Miller Versus I believe, she's happy with it, but I found it too stiff of material, especially compared to the mesh of this chair. If you don't trust all the reviews, go in store and find one to sit in.

Most comfortable chair!

Working from home, I got this chair that a co-worker had in the office, and it’s incredibly comfortable! The lumbar is adjustable and that lumbar is what makes the difference !

Great chair!

Chair was a great buy on clearance so we took a chance on it for our son. Store associate said it was one manufacturer and the sticker said full retail price much higher than what we paid, so not sure if there was a mix up or what but we like the chair regardless. Comfortable, breathable and tilts back!

Good Product

The chair is very comfortable, and the instructions were easy to follow to put together. I personally need to figure out what adjustments I need to set the chair at because I find myself slouching in it too much. Good product itself though.

Love the lumber support but not the tush

I really wanted to love this chair. I really enjoyed the lumber support (amazing) and the resistance aspect of keeping your posture in place. But the tush, wow, no support at all! I sit in my chair 6-8 hrs a day - I am stationed and it is not comfortable at all! I had it for 4-days; the 1st day, I felt uncomfortable but thought I needed to get use to it. By the 1/2 of the 2nd day, I had to use a butt cushion to alleviate the numbness I felt below the waist, and by the 3rd day, I kept thinking to myself if I'm spending this kind of money I expect more. Returned.

Doesn't last

After a few years, the gas strut worked it's way slowly lower in the skirt until it is now touching the ground. The chair is now too short for me and is scraping the rug when moving on the castors. I can't get it apart, so I may have to throw out a perfectly good chair

The backrest slips out of position

The backrest will not stay in the position I find comfortable.
