didn't fit correctly

I really loved the product itself and thought the appearance was beautiful but unfortunately my contractor was not able to make it work for my particular shower. Dimensions/install did not fit. I had to return it and buy Swan instead which worked out perfectly.

The exterior transition has styrofoam underneath it so not sure how well it will hold up over time. Kind of wish I’d spent the extra $$ and gone with another brand. My installer did put mortar underneath so hopefully that will provide additional support

We had our bathroom remodeled and had our shower expanded to 60” and installed a Flexstone wall system with matching shower pan in Calacatta White. We are so pleased with this choice. The matching shower pan versus a plain white pan really makes it look complete. The pan is very sturdy and easy to clean. Don’t hesitate to make this purchase, you will love it!

I ordered this product with some trepidation. Keep in mind I am not even remotely considered a contractor so I relied on the advice of a friend who is one and on the information about tub to walk in shower conversions published online. I originally contacted the people who are installing for Jacuzzi and a couple of other of the more famous plumbing suppliers. The cost of the famous stuff was more than I wanted to spend so I ordered almost everything from Home Depot. Excellent choice, affordable, very satisfied, does not disappoint. Read all the information carefully!!! The words can be parsed to make things sound like the best stuff since sliced bread.

limited options

wanted a 48 by 48 but was not offered. so had to go with a 34 by 48. and it is very bouncy, very limited options.

Great base

Very sturdy and installation was straightforward. Non slip to keep you upright and good instructions to boot. No creaking or squeaks like the old one that came out I pointed out in my shower surround review that a person could get a white base, that way they could redecorate in 10 years with a new surround of a different color. Seems like a good idea to me, but I'm sure that this one will stay cleaner looking.

This shower base was easy to install and it even came with the correct caulk adhesives to complete the installation. The only item that I had to purchase separately was the drain assembly 2” by 4 1/4 compression drain easily purchased at a home center big box store

We love how our center drain tapers all water to the center. Drains beautifully. The surface is no slip, which is great. Overall, we are extremely pleased with this base.

DO NOT BUY! update to 5/18/2021 review by MEME

Avoid this shower pan at all costs! i dropped a shampoo bottle from the niche onto the shower pan and it landed lid first into the pan. guess what broke? not the shampoo bottle. there is now a nice gouge in the pan. i thought there was a quarter inch thick plastic liner, just like what you see on the threshold. turns out the plastic is thick on the threshold but very thin in the pan itself. the plastic layer was so thin a shampoo bottle broke throufh it! you can tell the majority of this pan is just styrofoam with a thin plastic layer on top. unbelievable. this is probably the biggest rip off of all shower pans. DO NOT BUY, you will regret it.

not worth the money

i expect a 500 dollar pan to be top quality. what i received looked like it was hurridly slapped together on an assembly line. the one picture im allowed to upload shows 1 of the few problems. first, the glue the company used to connect the overlay piece isnt even bonded between the two materials. consequently, the threshold is not secured. isnt a huge deal if your floor tile will be pressing againts your threshold, but hey, this was 500 bucks... do better flexstone. secondly, the nail flange appears to be a separate piece than the floor pan base??? there is a bead of silicon (which was very poorly applied, not even in all places, lumpy in others) between the base and the nail flange. i thought i was buying one whole piece. since the glue from the attacjed picture obviously didnt do its job, im wondering if this is the same situation all throughout the pan. oh, and styrofoam on the underside of the pan to glue onto the floor? really? couldnt spring for the few extra bucks to use abs or pvc instead? of you're using this pan in conjunction with the surround walls, im sure it will be fine. im using as a regular shower pan and am tiling my walls - i regret this purchase as i expected way more for my money. i dont want to take it back and deal with waiting another 2 weeks for another shower pan so im going to glue the pieces together properly and silicon the edges, again fixing the improper job done in the first place, and call it good... never buying flexstone again.
