Very versatile, can be mounted on an existing box or use the enclosed one in the box. Easy install and brightness can be adjusted with the switch on the unit or use a dimmer switch on the wall. Good value.

Poor quality control and physical design

I got this as a "cheaper Artika Delray alternative", at a local Home Depot store. When I got back to the home and unpackaged it, I quickly noticed that the matte black frame with side cutouts is mounted to the white plastic diffuser with a thin strip of glue, and that glue was applied incorrectly at the factory, meaning the black frame was falling off the plastic diffuser. It should've been designed with a more secure way of attaching the black frame to the diffuser, not just flimsy glue.

[Rewarded Review] Cool idea

When I saw that this light could be installed in the traditional fashion or with no j box I was intrigued. Upon opening the package I saw that it has an attached j box to house all the electrical connections or the j box can be removed and installed into an existing j box. The light itself gets held up with spring clips when using the attached j box just like the new canless high hats. When using an existing j box it mounts with screws like a traditional light. The color temperature is adjustable to suit your likes and the light has a design that matches just about any decor. This is a very innovative idea that makes this light very versatile.

[Rewarded Review] Install flexibility

A little manufacturer thinking covers two install scenarios, those with a box and those without. They call it "flexinstall". Basically, beyond the "standard" box install, they've designed for installation to a suspended ceiling or just the sheetrock with two (removable) spring-loaded clips on the mounting plate. The unit is sealed but appears to be quality. It has 5 color temp settings and one for DuoBright which allows adjustment via a dimmer. Install was easy with the push connectors (no wire nuts) and twist connection to the base.

[Rewarded Review] A very versatile and good looking ceiling light!

This is my review of my new Commercial Electric Flexinstall LED 10 in. Brushed Nickel ceiling light. This Ceiling light has 5 different color temp settings. from 2700K (Soft White) to 5000K (Daylight). This Commercial Electric LED light is flush mounted and uses their Flexinstall system. The kit includes a junction box, quick connects a mounting plate with adjustable clips, hardware, and a mounting template. I was able to swap out the existing light with this one in just under 15 minutes. The Flexinstall lets you mount this ceiling light just about anywhere! It is "air-Tight" rated and can be installed touching insulation. The template and base allow you to mount with a 6.3 in, 8.3in or 9in hole. The adjustable clips will securely hold the light tight against the ceiling. It is also rated for wet exterior locations and showers/bathrooms. This light has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours and is a 75-watt replacement, but only uses 16 watts! The light spread is one of the best I've seen. It was very even and there were no hot spots. Using a compatible dimmer, you can adjust the brightness from 100% down to 10%. I now have a very nice and great looking front entry light that I am happy to recommend to you! Stay well.

[Rewarded Review] Great light - lots of install options!

This is a really nice light fixture. It has all the different color/temperature settings so you can adjust it to match your other lighting - and it is dimmable! It has spring loaded clips to mount in a recessed fixture, and a mounting plate for other uses. I used the mounting plate, and unfortunately none of the mounting slots would match up with my ceiling box. It comes with a paper template and wall anchors so you can mount it anywhere. If I have cone criticism it's that the included "screw in" anchors failed in one case (broke on my "wonderful" popcorn ceiling" and I had to use another I already had. We have it up and have decided to replace all the other fixtures nearby to match.

[Rewarded Review] Flexible Mounting

It's clear a lot of thought went into the design of this light. The mounting is unique and flexible allowing for mounting to an existing box or using the box that is part of the fixture. It also has spring tabs for a direct drywall mount.
