Good light

Light and dimmer work good so far but I have only been using it about a week. However it came damaged just as it was in other people's photos. But it is functioning.

Damaged

I've bought these lamp fixtures in the past and they worked great for using above my bird and reptile cages. They didn't make any sounds and bulbs lasted a long time. I reordered two to replace them and these were both damaged. The lamps turned on but had a high-pitched sound and broke bulbs fast.

Damaged Lamp

Although the lamp does work properly: the dimmer works and my bulbs light up, the lamp came dented/damaged. I tried uploading photos to show that it's dented in multiple spots, causing unevenness when placed over my reptile's habitat, but the Chewy app keeps crashing. So please contact me to see photos, and let's fix this issue somehow.

Decent lamp

This lamp is good. But I use a 150 watt basking bulb. With the 150 watt bulb, there is a slight buzzing sound, but if I have to dim it, the buzzing sound is really loud. But, if you use a lower wattage bulb, this might be the perfect lamp for you.

Figured it out

As others have mentioned the lamp comes with no instructions. The Box doesn't clearly show how to put it together. Luckily I used the website and zoomed in on it to figure out how to assemble. Basically the large screw on the clamp acts as a pivot on the ballast clamp

Perfect lamp for my che bulb. I like the dimmer so I can adjust the temp if needed. Came in good condition l and works great!

It does what it needs to do what can I say? I like the dimmer for the CHE.

Stopped working after 100 days.

Bought this lamp last July(it is October now) and it just stopped working today. Tried using different bulbs in it so I know it's not the bulb. It's very unfortunate because it is difficult to find a lamp with a dimmer. I will not be buying this brand of lamp again.

Good lamp with dimmer

Needed a lamp with a dimmer to get the perfect temp for my bearded dragon; this did the trick.

Perfect for adjustable basking spot

I have now purchased two of these. The dimmable function allows me to put a higher wattage basking lamp/floodlight in and I don't have to change the bulb as the weather changes. During the warmer months I dial the bulb down and when it gets colder I can dial it up. Much easier than keeping another bulb around to switch out.

Fluker's Products Are Usually Great-This Lamp Sure Is!

I needed a whole bunch of these to supply my growing Ball Python collection. I was going to get lamp and dimmer separately, but it turned out that was just the same price as getting these lamps with built-in dimmers. I've already cracked one out of its box, and will soon be breaking out another three. The one I've been using works perfectly! The dimmer is great, and in combo with a halogen bulb, all is well.

Good lamp for price. Can be used with or without the clamp.
