Third times a charm!

After buying from a big box store only to have them deliver damaged items (2x), we decided to try Office Supply.com and are so glad we did! Item was delivered as promised and not a scratch on it. The filing cabinet is built to hold files, and lots of them. I have three of the drawers completely full of legal sized files and the drawers slide as is they are empty. The cabinet itself is very heavy so you may need some help with maneuvering it into place.

This is a very durable file drawer. Our secretary loved it. We are planning on buying one for the other end of the building. I highly recommend this item.

Nice looking solid piece, very functional

Nice looking solid piece, very functional. It's nice to have the two smaller drawers for supplies like pencils, pens, tape, computer paper, etc.

Excellent quality and exactly as expected. Well wrapped and arrived in good condition. 4 Drawer is super heavy...a dolly makes manoeuvring much easier.

Quality Cabinet

Terrific product, sloppy directions and hardware counts.

I love the oak flat file, doing just what I wanted - large flat space for 5 draws of art paper, matte material, and full-sheet paintings (30x22"). The woodwork is superb - even the wood crating material is fine. My complaint lies in 2 minor but irritating areas: 1) someone needs to rewrite the assembly directions. I've built wooden boats and done a lot of projects in wood, but it's annoying to look for the 3 pre-drilled holes when in fact there is one; 2) when the directions show the 4 sizes of screws, it would be nice if they were the corrector size, instead of creating doubt. It would be even nicer if the 3/4" screws specified were included in the hardware, rather than the correct overall total but all 5/8s. And calling the factory got me 1" instead of the 3/4", while in bold it says using screws too long might break through the oak exterior, which one did.

We debated over lateral or standard file for a while. But finally chose this, it works well In the the office and keeps a lot of files easily at our fingertips. It was a good purchase!

High Quality Great Value

I ordered this 4 drawer lateral file cabinet for my company office. Searched long and hard at all of the online office equipment stores with no luck to find similar product with same value. It was delivered in only a few days. What I like most about it that it came fully assembled and is very high quality. Highly recommend this cabinet!

Decent quality

I bought 4 total - 2 were 4-drawer, and the others were 5-drawer. The only complaints we have are that sometimes the drawers stick when opening, and even though we think they're on flat floors, the cabinets seem to shake a little when opening. But they look great and for the price, I have no regrets on purchasing these.

home office perfect

This was perfect for my needs. I don't know if it would be sturdy enough for rough use in a public setting but for me it was compact and easy to use.
