Nice but lighter...no as heavy as older ones
It was three times the size I needed. It’s a beautiful piece of kitchenware.
Shape makes getting beans out more difficult than a more rounded shape. Cooks beans more slowly than the standard shaped bean pots. Also difficult to clean around the inside of the pot opening.
I can’t use it on the stove… maybe I missed that info in the reviews. It says that it can be used in the oven, but I’m a little afraid of trying. Oh well.
I gave my very old larger one to my oldest daughter at least 25 yrs ago. Now I’m 75 and want to make my own beans again. This pot is perfect!!!
Nice bean pot. Very good looking. It is made in China, so the price was less expensive than others. Good deal if you need a bean pot.

Very Unhappy Experience
Ordered this to replace the one we had that got broken. The new one arrived broken and was the color of brown mustard. The seller sent a new one. Also the color of brown mustard. Just an awful color. Gave it to my neighbor. Ordered it from another retailer. Arrived intact and the perfect pretty dark brown color. Think twice…
Poor quality including glaze (see photos). No markings on bottom indicating whether it was oven, microwave or dishwasher safe. Looked nothing at all like the wayfair ad. Did not even appear to be the same product.

The color of my bean pot was NOT as advertised. Instead of getting the sleek dark pot in the picture I got some ashy looking, disgusting tannish- brown color. I am thoroughly disappointed
