Excellent except foot switch.

The finish and style are excellent, but I do not care for the foot switch to turn it on and off.

Sturdy and well made. Heavy base makes it very stable. Metal construction is tubing, not solid bars, but tubing is heavy gauge and dark bronze finish is high quality. Shade is also high quality. Foot switch feels a bit cheap. Wish this lamp had a 3 way socket mounted switch but overall very pleased. Could not expect more at this price point.

Great lamp

This lamp is well made and very solid. No tipping or rocking. I placed it beside a recliner as a reading light and it works well. Colors are as they appear online. Very happy with the purchase. Came very well packaged. Required about an hour to assemble.

Beautiful, and a fair price.

Love the look. Fits well in my room.Just wish the shade had a choice of colors. I would like white. It's not an ordinary shade, so hard to find one that will work.

As Expected Except for the Cord

Well made,heavy,substantial, solid. This is my second lamp from this company. Well worth the price especially since I p purchased as an "open box". The lamp shade is really unique and casts a glowing light. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the electrical cord. I live that it is a foot switch for on /off but the cord is too thin. The switch doesn't play flat.. Instead of a typ6coed they should have used a thicker wrapped cord.

Nice lamp!

Would give it a 4.75. Great looking lamp. Easy to assemble. Only negative is the base size. If it were a bit larger the lamp might sit on carpet without leaning. Not an issue on a hard surface.

Easy to assemble; sturdy; good appearance

Sturdy lamp with warm glow. Easy to assemble if you follow directions. We like this for general lighting, and use a reading lamp on the other side. We put the on/off button on an end table instead of on the floor. 4 stars for that “feature.”

Poorly made

I love the style of this lamp and the size is practical. However, both the first one I ordered and the second-try replacement had manufacturing defects. Neither lamp was plumb, level, or square, and it would have driven me crazy to notice those defects every time I walked into the room.

This floor lamp is exactly what we were looking for to go with a table lamp that we've had for years and looks great in our apartment. The construction of the frame was exceptional; the color and texture of the finish very high quality and was almost a perfect match to the finish of our existing table lamp. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Nice Lamp!

I bought this lamp because it takes a 150 watt bulb, a plus for a reader. I am an older petite woman, I was able to put together with little difficulty. It was packed very well and is attractive in my living room. I will definitely use Lamps Plus when I remodel

I really like this lamp

First let me say I really like the design of this lamp. It is beautifully made and it is very study. I foresee this lamp lasting pretty much forever! I love decor that has a cozy feel to it and this design was spot on. It has a warm bronze finish, the base has a wood grain to it, and the shade is a nice neutral color with a leather look to it. I think it would look perfect in most settings. I placed mine by my chair which works out perfect for when I need extra light to read or crochet. The lamp does put out a lot of light.As far as assembling, it was pretty quick to put together. It took maybe about 10mins, but I would recommend an extra person to help. When you’re screwing the base and the lamp together it takes some extra hands to hold things together because of the weight of the lamp.I think for the most part this lamp is great just the way it is. Though if it was an option, the only thing I’d change is to make the arm where it could swivel, then I could move it more over my chair and into the perfect position.Thank you to Stellar Product Testing for sending me this lovely lamp in exchange for my honest review. Less

Stylish and well built

I was given the opportunity to review the Tahoe Bronze Downbridge Floor Lamp. I was very pleased with both the design and craftsmen-ship of this lamp! It arrived to my home very well packaged to avoid damage in transit. It was easily assembled by my teenager in approximately 10 minutes. The lamp is very heavy, which is good since we are a 3 kid 1 dog home! It didn’t even wobble after being hit by a foam Football flying across the room! The absolute best feature of this lamp is the foot pedal for on/off. Just a gentle step on the small pedal and the light turns off and on. Such a great feature when hands are full and the light needs to be turned off. I also like that the shade/light can be rotated to focus light in a particular area. The lamp is very neutral in colors and will match a variety of decor. Beautiful Lamp

I really like the design of this lamp. I appreciate that the base is rectangular and fits underneath other furniture. The post of the lamp is set back to help facilitate this. I really like the style of the lamp shade - it reminds me of the antique globe my family used to have. It was pretty easy to put together once I figured out how to attach the post to the base. It fit really well with my room decor and it shines the right amount of light over my desk. The only thing that might be nicer would be an option to make it slightly taller so that more surface area is under the cast of the light, but this would probably just be a nuisance if it were to go near a chair or sofa. Solid lamp

I was given this floor lamp to try as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I loved the style and design of the Tahoe Bronze Downbridge Floor Lamp. It matched the decor in my living room perfectly and I was thrilled to find a place for it. Unfortunately, the design of the base limited my options for placement, but I did find a spot for it. The lamp assembly was not difficult, but I definitely needed another set of hands to help me. It is heavier than I expected, but I don’t have to worry about it getting knocked over. The best thing about the lamp is the on/off foot switch. It’s a breeze to turn on and off. If I could change anything, I would want it to be adjustable height. That is about the only drawback I’ve found.I do recommend this lamp.
