Instructions Are Not Clear

My son spent an hour putting this together to get to the last 20 minutes only to find out the drawer braces were backwards and instructions were unclear with that step—so the only options were 1) take the entire side table apart down to step 1. 2) Back over it with a truck or 3) Return it to Home Depot. We will be choosing option 3! 🤬

Pros- it looks great put together and the color is beautiful. This shade of blue is also my new favorite. The instructions were well written and easy to follow as well. Cons- the wood is low quality and would constantly splinter and crack at the areas where screws were needed. I was put off by the sloppy/unfinished paint job. The drawer track is uneven and would show gaps on the side. I received this for free in exchange for my honest review

Perfect size for my room. I misread the furniture color so I was expecting white, but this lavender adds a pop of color in my room. It was easy to assemble and I have been utilizing this accent table as a lamp table with few of my night reads in the drawer. However, I am removing a star for the screws that came with it. Some of the screws came bent and if there were not extras, I would not able to have assembled it sturdily.

It has a strong factory-ish smell inside the drawers that linger on any item I leave in the drawers. But aside from that, I love this nightstand. It’s slightly wider than most nightstands I see on the market. The drawers are super spacious and smooth upon opening and closing. It was rather straight forward to assemble. It took about 40 minutes for two people to assemble with a power drill. The purple is VERY light. It’s almost white but it’s in fact purple. Like a lavender color.

Beautiful Accent Furniture

I received the Ameriwood Franklin Accent Table as part of the Spark Reviewer program. When I received the table, I was able to almost immediately assemble the item. The directions were clear—as most directions are—and I was able to assemble in under an hour. Once I got the item up, I was quite surprised at the beauty of the table. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. The gray popped and shine and it is a beautiful addition to any décor. I am using it in a bedroom with warm colors, so the gray blends in very well. It adds a touch of class to the room that normal accent tables do not. I have not owned the item but for a couple of weeks so I cannot truly attest to the durability of the table. However, just from the short amount of time that I have owned the item, it has held up quite nicely. I have a few things on top (i.e. lamp, book, etc.) and a couple of items in the drawers. It has not buckled or shown any signs of warp with these items and hopefully it will continue to hold up to the test of time. I would definitely recommend this item to those in the market for quality accent furniture.
