This rug is as depicted in the photos. It is lovely and soft, even considering its "thinness." I was concerned about its quality, but after moving several pieces of furniture across it, I'm confident of its durability (though would take care in vacuuming around the fringe, rather than over it). I also recommend a pad for it. It was a little wider (by a few inches) than as described, but still fit perfectly in its assigned space. For the price, it's an incredible deal for such a lovely item. Recommended!
