[Rewarded Review] Just what I was expecting

I loved this blanket. I enjoy the color and the texture. It fits my bed perfectly and adds just the right weight and warmth. Not to heavy and not to light, it’s just right. It washed and dried very well. No stitches came loose and it’s not stretched out or anything. The cotton weaving may have tightened up a bit but it’s hard to tell for sure because I didn’t take a photo of it over my hand until it was washed and dried.

Best cotton blanket ever!

I absoultely love this blanket! I've had it for about 5 months and it's holding up great and still so comfy and soft. I have bought about three cotton blankets over the past several years and didn't like any of them because they were either too heavy or not soft or both. This blanket is just the right weight (not heavy but not thin, perfect for FL) and it's soft. I have really hard water so I do have to use fabric softener but that's not an issue. I get hot at night (plus live in a hot climate) and this blanket breaths and keeps me at a comfortable temperature all night. Lastly, I love the color. I got it in navy but it's really more of a beautiful medium-light demin color. I bought the king size for my bedroom and am back to buy a smaller size to use as a throw blanket or when traveling. I may also buy the queen for my guest bedroom.

Too too delicate

I had a blanket similar to this one many years ago (not from Kohls), and I loved it. The material is lightweight and great for the summer. Unfortunately, this blanket did not hold up and I have only had it on my bed for about 2 weeks. It pulls so easily and really doesn't look nice at all. I live in a studio apartment so my bed is right out there for anyone who visits to see. The color matched some lightweight curtains that I have up and I really hoped the room would look great.

100% cotton

the shipping box %26 the tag on blanket says it's made in pakistan (not china) so it's safe. the zipper on the clear bag it comes in was missing, but that's not important. the tag on blanket says it's 100% cotton so that's good. it's very thin but for summer that's good. I'm washing it now in cold water %26 will tumble dry on low like it says to do. very hard to find a blanket for $14, so for the price it's okay. we'll see after washing %26 drying how it comes out.

Strange smell

I came to the reviews to see if anyone else had issues with this blanket smelling weird. I washed it, and ended up drying it a bunch on no heat after the initial dry cycle because of the staggering amount of lint present. After I laid it on the bed, my room had a funny smell. Disappointed in the overall quality of the blanket. It was purchased as a throw, not for me to use daily so I cannot comment on warmth. My cat hates it though if that tells you anything.

Price is too high for the cheap material used

This blanket is awful. The material is so thin and cheap. The price point is not worth the quality. It already has so many holes and snags in the material after just one use. If you have pets like I do, this blanket is NOT for you! Even if you don't have pets, the quality issue still remains true. I gave this blanket one star because, while it is relatively soft like a cotton blanket should be, I am very disappointed in the quality for the price of the item.

Don’t hesitate to purchase!

We have a queen size bed, but I purchased a king in this blanket. I turned it sideways so I could have plenty to pull up under or over the pillows with a generous portion to tuck in under the bottom. It has been wonderful! It’s not too heavy, not too light. It reminds me of a hospital thermal blanket only softer and smoother. It is sandwiched between my top sheet and a handmade quilt, and it has created a wonderful bond that keeps everything from shifting around. My bed is so much easier to make because the top sheet doesn’t creep down and the quilt doesn’t slide off. There is enough overhang that when my husband rolls over, he doesn’t take my share of the blankets with him.
