Excellent Grill, Very Well Made, Highly Recommend
I was looking for a new grill as I seem to spend ALOT of money on expensive grills only to find after 3-4 years they fail too. Did a lot of research and settled on this grill. Construction was easy and the parts are heavy duty. My only complaint is using the Phillip screws to attach the back piece to the top and bottom. It is very difficult to do this due to the closeness of the screws to the back piece. Maybe a bolt would have been better, still a very nice grill.
Best Grill I’ve Used Hands Down
The compact footprint and beautifully engineered design of the Fuego grill was a major selling point for me. I wanted a grill that wouldn’t take up much space on my patio and I am wonderfully pleased and impressed with the moxy of this grill. Not only does it heat up fast than most grills I’ve used it, it seems to do a better job at searing steaks without going overboard like some grills. The design of the grill seems much more efficient with cooking while maintaining the inner moisture of the meat itself. A lot of grills just heat the inside up without having the heat directed anywhere causing the meats to dry out quickly. That is definitely not the case with the Fuego grill. I got the 21” one and for two adults and two little kids, this is perfect. If you were trying to grill an entire meal the 24” grill would probably be better suited for you. I usually just grill meats and maybe veggies on mine so the space is rarely an issue for me but some people like to over do it and indulge and if that’s you, get the 24”. Overall, simply the best grill I have ever used.
Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'
After 4 years (bought May 2020) and an encounter with a felonious bear, our Element still works like a champ. We grill often in the summer. Salmon, tuna steaks, burgers, chicken, chops, roasts, veggies, even pizza with a stone. A little maintenance, some protection, and this grill will not disappoint. I especially like the new enameled diffuser. The cast iron grates get nice and hot and will sear and finish 1 1/4" loin chops in about 5 minutes.
Compact and Well Made
I purchased this as a gift for my husband for Father's Day. It was easy to put together and we both like the fact it is small and easy to move but the grill space is plenty large. So far we've only cooked on it once and it worked just fine. Our only complaint is that the handle gets very hot so be sure to have an oven mitt on hand.
Very nice grill. Easy to assemble. Heats fast and hot (600 degrees in 5 minutes). It’s a little small when cooking a meal for 2 people. I probably would have preferred the 24” model but not bothered enough to figure out a way to upgrade.
Beautiful Look and Job
We purchased. We setup. We grilled. Nice!
Fuego Element Hinged F21C-H
Best grill at this price point bar none.
Love IT!
This grill really does come up to full temp in 5 minutes, which also saves on gas usage! Great size for the 2 of us or hosting a small group. We had another round gas grill prior to this Fuego and loved it. When that one was no longer available we searched and came across this one. We highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
Not sure why the lid has so much venting, the grill heats up fairly quickly. Only used it once but I found myself wishing for more heat for a hot sear. Did heat up evenly. My temperature gauge sticks at 450 and stays there after shutting it down, have to tap on it to get it to return to 100 degrees .
Great little Grill
I love this grill. It was easy to assemble. It heats up fast and cooks very well. And it's so Easy to clean. Highly recommend
Tons of grilling space, really heats up quickly and to a high temperature, and has a small footprint. Also pretty easy to assemble. Totally recommend, especially for a small space.
Love this grill and the small footprint 👣
First time grilling on my new Fuego Element. Everything turned out perfect. So impressed with the results. Was a breeze to assemble, even for a 70 year old lady, all by myself. I did look at some YouTube tutorials on assembly, but the instructions were spot on and everything was so extremely easy. Kudos to the designers.
Fantastic Product
I watched and considered the FC21-H for almost 2 years. I have a Traeger, but I only cook for myself and it’s ridiculous to try to use a rig that big and expensive to run to cook only 1 hamburger/chicken breast/salmon filet. And I have owned propane grills in the past, and I know how simple it can be.
Easy to put together. My teenager did it in 30 minutes. Very easy to use. Fires and heats up quickly. Doesn’t take up a lot of space. If you’re used to having a gas gauge, it doesn’t come with one. They’re inexpensive on Amazon.
Having used the grill 3 times I am very pleased. The igniter seems to be weak and might need to be replaced.
Tried and true
I bought my 21"Fuego grill in 2020 shortly after the lockdown, so I've had 4 years of year-round experience with this grill. The short story is that it's exceeded all my expectations. I mostly grill for myself, but have served as many as six here at my place, and whether it's ribeye, salmon, brisket, burgers, any kind of chicken, ribs, lobster tails, shish kabob, or marinated vegetables in a stainless grill basket, I'd put this grill up against anything but a dedicated smoker. Once seasoned (about 6 meals, using everything from fatback to smoker pellets), the grill has delivered consistent quality with near zero maintenance. The only part needing replacement has been the diffuser panel, which was a simple swap and drop operation. It really does heat up quickly, reaching 500-600* in about 3 mins (you can crank it to 800+* using beef fat for open flame charring), and the cast iron grate (brushed before each use) has been a solid performer.
Love my Fuego Grill
The grill is fantastic. The design profile is elegant and small, perfect for our side yard and it grills perfectly...we've done lobster to hamburgers and steaks...great grill!
Revolutionary!
The cool, slim design first caught my attention. Bought as a Christmas present for my grumpy husband who hates presents. He refused to put it together so I had to try, all the parts strewn about my living room. Directions were thoughtful and clear. It took me a bit more than the 30 minutes cited, but less than an hour for this 76 year old non-mechanical lady. (photo) It is very well made, sturdy, nothing wasted, nothing missing, with plenty of room on the cooking surface. The grumpy husband reluctantly agreed to try some ribeyes on the Fuego… long story short, it’s the first present he’s ever actually liked. Thank you!
Poor performance
The first use was great. Every time after the gas is always on a low setting and I’ve tried to fix it several times . It’s basically useless at this point after one real use.
Excellent little grill.
It's small on how much room it takes up and does a great job. Got the smaller size, but I bet the bigger size is the same, just bigger! Very happy.
