Had waterproof layer I had to cut off

Fit well on 15” mattress. Thick. Nice that top can unzip for washing. NEGATIVE is that it had a plastic layer on the bottom even though nowhere on package or description did it say waterproof. I was able to cut that thin layer off. I specifically didn’t want waterproof as that causes excess heat when I sleep, but it was easy enough to fix.

It is definitely your run of the mill mattress pad. I received mine with two small stains on it but having just bought a house I am too busy to return it. Looked like coffee or something. Not worth the exorbitant price anyway.

Great way to save a mattress.

This pad is exactly what we needed. Our mattress, while expensive, was getting furrows where we sleep. This pad filled in those low areas giving the support we needed. Should be able to keep the mattress for several more years. The pad is really heavy duty, well made and fits nicely over the mattress.

Absolute Failure

This was my one of the worst purchase experiences of my life. My package was lost and neither Kohl’s or FedEx told me anything. Nearly two weeks after the purchase nothing arrived. If I hadn’t called FedEx I never would’ve known what happened to my package. Then I call Kohl’s to tell them about the lost order and the rep told me I was wrong and my package was delayed. I told her again the package is lost and I want a refund. She tells me they can send me the same item again. She wasn’t listening to me at all! After I demanded a refund again so acquiesced but told me it may take 30 days to get my money! What? Kohl’s NEVER will do this to me ever again! Sad!

Sleeps hot

Item description does not include the fact that the bottom layer is plastic, rubber, or some other waterproof material. If I'd have known that I wouldn't have bought it. It's very hot to sleep on and negates my "cooler" mattress model.

Good Choice!

I've been through SO many mattress pads, and the ideal situation, I think, is to be able to 'feel/touch' the product... But I also trust Serta as a brand, and the description and reviews encouraged my purchase. I'm VERY happy with this mattress pad - it 'stays put', the finish is not TOO smooth, and the sheets don't move around on top of it - the zip-top function for laundering it is a great idea, and I would buy this again. Good choice!

Good quality

The skirt is attached to the waterproof platform that zips onto the bottom of the mattress pad. You have to unzip it and remove it when you wash it or it will hold water. It is good quality and comfortable and I would recommend it.
