We’ve had some really nice expensive and heavy goose down comforters and this one was really nice and very soft and fluffy but if you hold it up to the light, you’ll see so much settling in the feathers and we can’t figure out how to spread them out evenly so we feel very patchy underneath it. What I recommend you buy it sure why not, otherwise you’re gonna have to spend three times as much to get something higher-quality

I like this down comforter, but it’s not as nice as the one I got for $99 22 years ago on sale w Eddie Bauer for a king size down comforter that my hippie late husband gave to his sister when i wasnt looking— The woman could’ve bought me out several times, but she had to have my $99 Eddie Bauer down comforter. And after my husband died, I never could find one that was just as nice. The moral never let your husband give away your down comforter or your down jackets or your nice boots or your blankets, etc. etc. etc. you never know when you’re gonna need something to keep you warm at night.

Stuffing Moved

This expensive Bare cotton comforter was a FAILURE only because the stuffing did NOT stay inside the boxes. All fluff shifted to the bottom of comforter within a month or two. Really too bad, especially since it claimed to keep the fluff evenly distributed inside the sewn squares, it did not. On a plus, it has very nice soft cotton fabric.

This down comforter is very warm and soft! I use it in my guest bedroom along with a duvet quilt on top and my guest are always raving about how "cozy" and warm it was. We live in Minnesota, so the winters get COLD. This has held up beautifully, it launders well, and it works as promised! Great quality as well. Highly recommend.

The King/Cal King size is very large and it covers our entire bed and a little more. So, we now sleep much more comfortably because everyone has the comforter over them at night despite all the pulling and tugging. So, the huge size is a definite advantage. The outer fabric is 100% cotton, so it feels nice against the skin and does not irritate or overheat the skin. It is comfortable. The inner filling is a mix of down and feather. So, it is quite warm and we ended up using much less heating at night due to this comforter. The only negative I can think of is the erratic pricing of the seller. When I received this comforter a few months ago, the price was $260, but now I see the price has been lowered to $75 (price while I write this review). A few dollars up or down would not be such a big deal, but if someone bought this a few months ago for $260, they would feel cheated now. So, the seller may have to focus on how they go about pricing this item. Their pricing process does not look good.

I received this comforter yesterday, February 2, 2023. The fit for my bed is perfect, the quality is excellent, and kept me cozy and warm last night!!! I#039;m very glad I made this purchase. I also have your Bare flannel sheets which are impeccable!!!! I highly recommend this comforter without a shadow of a doubt!!! Great purchase!!!

Over the years we got so many types of comforters . They all served their purpose in some way . But something was always missing . Either too hot or not warm enough , synthetic materials , comforter sets … you name it . Then I saw this one online .I was thinking ,I should be crazy to order another one since we have an extensive amount of comforters .I did go ahead and order . It’s being made with premium materials was my deciding reason . Cotton + down , you won’t go wrong .Well even the opening the package came in was a very please thank surprise . NOTHING cheap about it at all . Came in a box that was hosting a carrying bag and the comforter was resting in that with already vacuum packed . Wow !The color as. It is described it more creamish , pure white . No big deal for us . Has loops in the corner to be able to secure the comforter in the comforter cover ( which I never knew that such thing existed ) .It is beyond comfortable to sleep with . No sweat ,no cold .A bit weighted, which we love . And washing it is another level of happiness because it is super washer friendly .It’s almost been a year that we got it and after so many washes ,it still looks like brand spanking new . I am truly blown away with this product .We never ever wanted to use the other comforters we had , even just fora change … not even the summer time . ( well that sounds crazy , but we prefer to keep our bedroom cold and sleep under the comforter . )It may sound a bit pricey , but what is thee comparison ? It is a VERY WELL MADE item will hold for years to come . I want to say thank you for the company who produces this item . With all the crappy things in the market . Some people are still sticking with high quality . Job very well done !We are a beyond happy customers here .Do your self a favor and have this luxury in your home if you are in the market for something like this . NO regrets .

My daughter has been using this on her bed for a couple weeks now. It’s light weight and doesn’t cause her to get hot. She says it’s the perfect balance of weight and warmth. We live in the south so it does get cold here but not extremely cold so she didn’t want anything that would cause her to get hot at night. She loves the extra “fluff” on her bed and it’s so comfy. We would recommend this product.

I love this new down comforter! It's heavy enough to keep me cozy and warm, but light enough to keep me from overheating on nights that are warmer. I can turn my heat down a few degrees and still stay warm, and it breathes so I don't get too hot. The stitching keeps the down from shifting to much, and it has tabs in case I want to put it inside a duvet cover.

We love this comforter. It is light weight. It doesn't make us too hot or cold. Perfect temperature. I love the white colour. Great value for money. Size is great. Highly recommend it.

I have an older down comforter I got from Sears back in the day, but unfortunately, I find it too thick and hot. Whether it’s in the middle of the coldest winter spell or not, I simply sleep too hot for a thick down duvet. I was hesitant about even trying this one as I figured I may face the same problem, but it isn’t as heavy or thick, so it’s better suited for me and I can actually use it as an all-season down comforter!I ordered the Queen size which is 92” x 90”. It’s filled with 60% soft down and 40% feathers with a cotton shell (not polyester, yay!) As with any good quality down duvet, this one has box-stitching to ensure that the feather + down filling is evenly distributed from top to bottom, not bunched up on one side. Due to the size and weight of the duvet, you might want to take it to a dry cleaners or a laundromat where they have commercial size washers that will be able to handle this. It’s simply too big and heavy (once wet) for my top-load washing machine and I didn’t want to chance the center agitator ripping open the comforter and having the feathers go everywhere!For me, this was the perfect down comforter, but others may prefer something more heavy duty for maximum warmth in the winter.

Great quality duvet. Haven't had any feathers poking through. No rough bits underneath either. The duvet has box stitching. That keeps the down and feathers even distributed. No bunching up or shifting to one side. The duvet has tabs sewn in the corners. Perfect for their duvet cover. Tie off the duvet cover to each corner. So far we've only had this through the summer, so I can't comment on colder months. I do feel like it will provide lots of warmer in the colder months. I heard a recommendation a while back and have followed it since. When ordering a comforter or duvet, order a size bigger than your bed! This is especially helpful when you share your bed with a partner. So having a size up helps reduce the fight over the blankets.

I received a sheet set instead of a down comforter but the sheets are nice quality and really nice looking. They washed and dried well with no issues! I wish I had received a comforter though !

Very nice material. Easy to wash. I like this cause it’s actual very warm. I’d recommend this one for winter.

When I took the comforter out of the box I put it in the dryer right away to fluff it up, like the instructions recommend. I was pleased to find that this comforter is not super thick, heavy or too puffy. I tend to overheat at night. The outer shell is super soft and smooth, and the piping around the edges make this comforter look high end. The thick cotton shell keeps the feathers from poking out. This comforter fits perfectly in all of my queen sized duvet covers, I like how it has loops to keep the comforter from moving around. I think this has been great addition to my bed, I am very pleased with it. This Bare comforter came beautifully packaged, would make a great gift.

We recently upgraded our bed from queen to king and was super excited to try this out. The comforter is lightweight, soft and super comfortable. There was no weird smell either when you first take it out of the box. It's also not very thick, but I noticed that it does get quite warm and might be too hot if you are using it in the summer.

Beautiful snowy white premium comforter. So light and fluffy filled with down and enclosed in 100% cotton. Folds up nicely but fluffs up when you open it again. Squared off edges give a neat look to it. You can accent it with any colour and it will look fabulous. Love it.

I have two if these now, so my reviews may be similar. This is a lightweight goose down/ feather duvet with a polyester cover and box stitching. Firstly this is an incredibly warm yet lightweight duvet, which is generally the selling point for feather over polyfill duvets. Down/ feathers are so much warmer then artificial fibres yet they still maintain their lightweight status. The cover of this duvet is 100% cotton so it does breathe well and is a soft silky fabric that is very nice to sleep under. The way this duvet is stitched it has a crisscross box pattern which keeps the down filling evenly distributed throughout the duvet which in turn makes it easier to deal with and much easier to wash. What I like specifically about this particular duvet is the fact that there was absolutely no smell, I have purchased other down products that have a kind of musty organic smell that isn't Pleasant at all. This blanket is lovely and fresh with absolutely no smell. You will find after unpacking it that it will continue to proof up and get Fuller looking once a decompresses from the packaging. I have washed duvet is similar to this in my washing machine before and the best bet is to use cold water and a delicate cycle and then dry it on the coolest setting of your dryer. One last thing this duvet has four corner tabs making it quite easy to put a duvet cover on even by yourself LOL. All together a great feather / down duvet option at a quite affordable price, definitely recommend.

This Bare comforter came in a beautiful, reusable fabric bag with handles featuring the Bare logo, packaged in an attractive and very sturdy cardboard box. The presentation is very polished and would make for a neat gift. The comforter itself looks nice. It is pristine white with equally white double piping. As other reviewers mentioned, it is not your typical thick and puffy comforter. It is rather thin and compact and if you hold it up in front of a light you can see that is made up of square pockets holding the down and that the latter is rather thinly distributed. Despite that, I found the comforter to be quite warm but it is, as its description says, more of an all-season comforter rather than a winter one. According to its tag, the inner content is 60% down and 40% feather and the shell is 100% cotton with polyester piping. The fabric is smooth and soft and is very comfortable if used as is although I would recommend using a duvet cover because the comforter can only be dry-cleaned. Overall, I quite like this comforter and found it to be satisfyingly warm as an all-season blanket. People who are used to the traditional puffier down comforter may feel disappointed by its thinness but I for one appreciate this aspect because it is easy to fold and stow away. At $220, it is not exactly cheap but it falls within the average price for down comforters.

I was very impressed with the packaging for this comforter. I find a lot of products use very generic packaging, however this had a nice box that would make this a great house warming gift. This fluffed up nearly instantly, and didn't have any weird chemical smell after unboxing. The stitching on this is perfect, it is definitely a premium product that had care taken during it's assembly. I would say this is all season for people who like to be a little cooler, but it's a thinner comforter so that may not be for everyone. I found this great for the summer as I had a very cool sleep.
