Just what I hoped it would be. We have a 4 post queen size bed that is very high off the ground and the king was the perfect size...goes all the way to the ground. The shams are not king size so that is perfect for my sham pillows. Great value and fast shipping.

I liked the bedspreads,the fact that they were long enough not to need a bed skirt but..... I realized I was covered in fuzz after making the beds so I washed them in cold water and dried them on a low setting. There was enough fuzz in the dryer vent to fill a pillow and they're still shedding on my clothes. They also shrunk, they're still long enough but I am disappointed in the quality. They are pretty but buyer beware

Not a quality set

The fabric on the bedspread was not pre-washed before assembly. The item had to be washed and dried several times before use. It filled a 1/2 trash can full of lint, not to mention the dust it created when handling it. Had to screen the wash water so it wouldn't clog the drain and the cotton still had dirt in it.

The cover is light, soft and nice. I bought a King Size and it was big enough to drape over the my mattress without looking too long. The only reason why I gave it three stars was because it shed so much. I had to wash it three times to get all the excess lint off. Even with that, I had to wash it two more times before my clothes no longer had lint in them when they would touch the cover. Now it is wonderful and lite.

It's a nice change after the bedspreads I've had over the past few years. It's great now, but I'm wondering if it will be warm enough as the whether cools. It's a nice, fresh look for my bedroom. Years ago, I had a Martha Washington chenille bedspread. (At least, I think that was the name of it.) It's the reason I decided to try chenille again. I'm glad I did. Unfortunately, I've already had to wash it due to a pet accident. When I saw what was left in the drier, I wondered if I'd have any bedspread left. But it's fine; looks great. Very happy with it.

Not real chenille

If you're looking for a replica of your grandmothers chenille bedding, this is NOT the bedding for you. The fabric is basic cotton (like a laundry bad) with tufts of cotton on it. I didn't hate the way it looked so I decided to try it out anyway. When I washed it to put on my bed, oh my gosh....I was covered, my house was covered, my dryer was extremely clogged, with fuzz from this blanket. I immediately packed it up and returned it. I lost *** on the deal with return fees etc, but this thing was unusable, especially for the price. Don't make the same mistake!

Perfect!

It's exactly as pictured. It is well made. Some reviews feel that it's too thin but it is exactly what a chenille bedspread should be and that's why I'm giving it a 5 star rating. Also read comments about the size not being accurate. I measured my full size bed and decided to get a queen. It does hang on the floor a little bit. I feel the sizing was accurate on the spreads, but you have to measure your own bed and compare that with the dimensions of the spread because mattress thicknesses vary.

It grew on me.

At first this spread seemed somewhat light but after a few weeks I really adore it. Great weight, even for winter weather with one blanket. Feels nice to touch and when you are under it. This spread is plenty large enough for my king size bed, just sweeping the floor on both sides and having enough length so that you can use regular pillows in addition to the sham pillows. One thing about fit is that I may have a skinnier mattress or something because the scallopy portion of the pattern just rides atop the edge where the mattress breaks over so not quite as large as it appears in the photo. Even so it is plenty large enough to reach the ground on all sides and is very soft and comfy.
