Comfy and chic

This comforter was purchased for use in our camper. Love the weight- it’s heavy without being suffocating. Be careful laundering- I’ve lost a few of the pompoms, no biggie to me it doesn’t compromise the blanket.

Quality seems good, has been washed once and held up fine, and I really like the design (almost chenille-like) and color is as pictured (I ordered teal) but this thing is TINY. I have a queen sized mattress and always order king comforters because I like it to cover the box spring and this king sized comforter doesn’t even hang over the queen mattress! The sheets hang down farther than the comforter. Otherwise it’s nice.

This comforter is prettier in person and very good quality. I am very happy with it and may buy this brand again.

STINKS!!!

Beautiful comforter. Upon opening it had a very strange and awful smell. I washed it and fuzzy little white threads, I'm assuming from the knotted thread design on top, were everywhere. While the fabric is very thin it is an extremely warm comforter, better suited for winter months. Definitely not worth the $149 I paid for it. It will be going back.

Looks beautiful, but...

Gorgeous set, loved everything about how it looked, but since it's 100% cotton, it is super wrinkled when washed, and if you don't have a commercial sized washer/ dryer, then it takes a trip to the laundromat and additional expense to clean. It also had white fuzz all over after washing and wasn't very soft. Really beautiful to start out, but not worth it afterward.

Perfect for a fussy bedroom with antiques and walls covered with fussy rose lattice patten. Not exactly chenille but close to that in feeling. Wife likes that it is warm. I am going to order a second one, as it does not look to be that durable to be washed often. But at the price one cannot go wrong.

Comfy and well made

I bought this a month ago and I am not disappointed. The fabric is soft and the comforter is well made. I've washed it and it's held up well. The color (sage) is true to what you see on the website.

This doesn’t even fit the bed.

Sizing off! Doesn’t even fit the bed. The only way it mostly fits is to turn the stripes horizontally instead of vertically and then it’s too short and doesn’t make it to the pillows. If we turn it like the photo shows, it doesn’t even make it to hang over one side of the bed. Terrible measurements.

While the web description says “Josephus” the packaging I received says “Angelique”.

Exactly as described. I got the comforter in a king taupe. Please be advised that the king should run horizontally—not vertically as is in the product picture. I do wish it was just a bit wider but works for me just fine. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I ordered the comforter in taupe and the color is as pictured. As, another review mentioned, stripes on the king size run horizontal rather than vertical. Our mattress is standard king,not pillow top, and it's just shy of the comforter overhang meeting the bedskirt on each side. If you prefer more overhang on the sides, I'd consider sizing up. I've washed and dried the comforter set so we will be keeping it but I likely would not buy again.

Very poor quality, the pillow shams and comforter are different shades of blue. Lots of cotton debris found surrounding the comforter, which only worsened with washing. Considering returning this item as higher quality can be found at home goods or Marshall’s.
