Firm with no squish

No medium about this mattress. Firm firm firm. Now have lower back pain. Returned this after 3 weeks couldn’t take it anymore. Spend the money and get a better mattress, worth your sanity and happiness.

Would not recommend

The first 2-3 weeks the mattress felt very firm and we were thrilled! At 5 weeks we could tell it was already getting softer and were concerned about what it would be like after several months. I called Home Depot but was told the mattress warranty was only 30 days and to call Beautyrest (Simmons). All they wanted to know was how many slats we had in our bed frame. I explained we had a Beautyrest mattress before this one for 7 years and loved it. Same exact frame. They didn't care. Never again!

Extremely Hard

This is extremely hard. I laid on this for about an hour before getting up. And, going downstairs bc I bought this for my mom for when she comes and visits. And, I even put on the “serta 3 in mattress foam topper” on it that is gel cooling, and it doesnt even help. I hope this feels good to her, bc she likes hard firm beds. She needs a firm bed. But, for me being an obese person, this is way to firm for my liking bc its so hard, I can’t even sleep on it. In addition, the memory foam topper I added to this extremely hard bed makes it feels just like my beauty rest medium pillow top of this exact same bed that i bought for my room that i don’t have a memory foam topper on. I also left a review on that one complaining how it hurts me.,However, I am 260 lbs. And, it definetly supports my weight, and I don’t sink. Its just very very hard. I can sit on it, normally, and I don’t sink in. Its just very very hard. And, i just don’t like it bc its not comfortable to me. And, made my lowe back pain much worse just in that one hour I laid on it. I actually got up from the medium pillow top to try this one with that is extra firm with the extra optional memory foam I added, and I can’t tell a difference. They are both way to hard for my liking and comfort.

We've always loved the Beautyrest, my husband is a very tall person and it was perfect for him. Soft but not sinking soft, great support for supine sleep, and we've had it almost a year it's still holding up brand new, which has been a change for us, with other recent mattress purchases. You know you've got a great bed when no matter where you are or how great the bed is, nothing compares to coming home to this mattress. Highly recommend for guest or daily bedroom use!

Great Night of Sleep

This is our third BRS900 Extra Firm. I have 2 at my house where my wife and I live full-time. One in the master downstairs and one in the master upstairs. My wife and I enjoy the comfort of this mattress. We have this mattress at our rental house where we live part time. We are satisfied with this mattress. We recommend this mattress to others.

Best extra firm mattress

I took a chance and bought this queen extra firm mattress and box springs online. Best decision I ever made on buying a mattress without trying it out first in a store. This mattress is perfect. I sleep like a baby. If you like a extra firm mattress this is definitely the one for you!

OMG! I slept on this bed for the first night of Saturday 2/27/21, mind you that prior to purchasing this Queen-size Bed I was and had been for years experiencing major leg and back problems and couldn't for the life of Me figure out what was causing me all this pain and discomfort but once this mattress arrived and was put in place and I slept on it my entire life changed. It's absolutely what my Body was calling for needed and happy to lay in. Upon first laying on th Mattress I felt especially grateful and could immediately tell that my Body was in a better place to be. Sleeping has become something of a Must have and happy to have for Me and it's all because of my New Beautyrest. I might as well be in HEAVEN because sleeping on this Cloud feels like that's what it most definitely could be to Me. I so enjoy my sleeping nights and refreshed awakenings of my new mornings!

Good for Back Sleepers

The quality of the BRS900-C 13.75 in. Queen Extra Firm Mattress with 6 in. Box Spring is excellent. I am a hot sleeper and use a ceiling fan all year round. I slept on the mattress for a little over a month, encased in the plastic it came in, and did not get overheated. Also, with two of us on the bed, there was no disturbance when one moved around or got up.

As the Covid 19 virus rages the US, my husband and I have been stuck at home like most Americans. Due to our downsizing, I am also stuck in my room, usually in my bed. My old mattress was pushing its 30th birthday, and showing its age. With my PPP funds, I set about to buy a new mattress. Due to two motor vehicle accidents and normal wear and tear, my body has special needs in a mattress, and a lack of pressure points heads the list.

We have been sleeping with the king size for a month. Two stars for easy ordering and delivery. Zero stars for the matress. Be aware this matress is not for anyone over 250lbs if you expect the extra firm to last. The first week was great for the back, but the amount of foam on the top will eventually give in and there is NO firmness left. The sides of the matress are not firm and the foam squeaks. You will roll off easily if you are not careful due to no seams. Our back problems are back due to sinking into foam, which radiates heat all night. The coils seem non- existant at this point. We will try to return it as this is not a traditional coil matress, but a foam matress.

If you like a firm mattress and you have back issues, this mattress is fabulous. Our last mattress was also a Beautyrest, but with a pillowtop. We thought we would miss the plush cushiony feel of the pillowtop, but after the first night, we really didn't think about it. The quality of this mattress exceeded our expectations. My husband and I actually found the mattress at a local furniture store, tried it out, loved it, but the store couldn't order the mattress in the 13.75 inch thickness. So, we found it online at Home Depot and ordered it. When it arrived we both were very pleased. Even the delivery and setup (XPO) was seamless. As an added bonus, my deep pocket sheets still fit and we're both sleeping better with less back pain. Thank you Beautyrest.

At the beginning it seemed amazing! Very firm and comfortable. If you sat down near the edge, the mattress would immediately adopt a weird form and you could almost fell, but it was I could live with as long as it kept it’s overall firmness. However, it’s been less than one month now and the matress’ “extra” (!) firmness (the reason why I bought it in the first place) it’s already gone! And you can already see the difference if you now lay down just in the middle, where none of us usually sleeps. Honestly, having paid what I paid for this item, I would have expected a different quality and perfomance.

We purchased 2 of the BRS900-C plush mattresses to replace the mattresses in our kids rooms. The mattresses have similar feel to the Beautyrest Black Natasha Plush we purchased for our master a few years ago at a lot higher price. Would recommend this mattress for anyone looking for comfort at reduced price. Homedepot's white glove delivery brought the mattresses and box springs into our home, setup and hauled away our old mattresses. Very pleasant experience.
