You get what you pay for.

The edges are too sharp, my son moves around in his sleep and has hit his head on the edges several times so my husband had to sand the edges. We will have to get something better in the future, this is what happens for being cheap.

Damaged

Item came damaged. The pieces had scratches on them. The scratches were right on the top and so unfortunately it made this brand new item look

Had an issue with a part being damaged in the shipping I must say their customer service was very good and sent me out a new part quickly. I would definitely recommend.

Good wood headboard

I bought a similar south shore headboard in black and that one had issues with the finishing of the laminate and also putting together the headboard was a bit of a pain although the steps were identical but this white one was much better in all those areas so I am giving this 5 stars!

Good piece need a small modification.

Instruction is plain and simple, easy to follow. Whole installation is pretty smooth. Be aware the headboard is designed for a bed frame, so if you are using it as stand along piece, you will need small modification to account for the baseboard. Overall it is a good buy.

For my purposes for purchasing the minimalist headboard the result are adequate. It took a while to put together but I did it alone so can be done.

Very nice headboard

Love the headboard. Easy to assemble. Even comes with small adhesive pads for the back so it doesn't rub against the wall or baseboard. Perfect for my guest room. I did need to buy longer bolts to secure it to the steel tube legs on the platform bed. The ones that come with it would go through a standard bed frame.

south shore headboard assembly

While the headboard is nice to look at, the instructions provided are absolutely inadequate. Two people who are very experienced at assembly/construction took about 2 1/2 hours to get the thing put together. Written explanations along with the pictures are sadly needed. I give a two star rating based on the poor instructions. The metal screws provided to attach the headboard to the frame were not suitable as I have a metal frame. We had to provide our on safe heavy duty bolts/nuts to secure it. Doubt seriously I will ever buy from this company ever again.

Slim Headboard Perfect Finished Look

Bought for a headboard for the bottom bed in a full over full bunk for college. Narrow size works great in a small space and keeps the pillows and shams from falling off the end of the bed. Photo attached showing the black oak finish.
