Satisfies my need for clean!

Nice mattress protector. Doesn't feel too plastic-y. I feel good about extending the cleanliness of the mattresses. Also like that you can remove and wash these if little ones have "accidents" while sleeping.

Good mattress protector

This worked really well for what I needed, I wanted the mattress that I use in a furnished rental to be protected. Hard to put on by yourself, but easy with one other person. It is comfortable to lay on and doesn't make a bunch of noise. Great way to protect a mattress.

Maybe not creepy-crawlie proof but still nice.

I just received this mattress cover yesterday. You have to slide the mattress into the cover longways, so it was much easier with two people. I think it's possible to put it on by yourself, but I think it woukd be a bit of a struggle. The cover doesn't have anything to secure the one-way zipper once it is on. I bought this cover since it was rated to protect against creepy crawlies (not that I have them, I just like planning for worst case scenarios). Typically those kinds of covers have velcro that goes over the zipper at the end, but that's not the case here. If you really need a mattress cover that can protect your mattress from the dreaded bedbugs, pay a little more and go with something else. The material is nice and not too stiff, and it's not loud or crinkly when you lay on it. I put it on my new Lucid 10" foam mattress. It could fit a 12" but probably not any thicker.

We like the Linenspa Encasement ZipTight Protector

We are glad we bought the Linenspa Waterproof Encasement Mattress protector for our mattress. It has a zippered end to completely surround our mattress, we like that this protector deters bed bugs, dust mites and is waterproof. We like that it has soft, breathable fabric. It fits secure on our mattresses 10". The fabric feels nice, and it not like sleeping on a sweaty, crinkly tarp.

If this is truly waterproof, I am going to be totally shocked, awed and amazed. It is so nice! I can't imagine how it can be waterproof, but it is 100 times better than the old plastic sheets I've purchased in the past. My granddaughter has to have a mattress protector because of her chemo, to protect bedding from body fluids, and it this really works, it will save so much money for us! I'm purchasing these for all the grandkids' beds as well. The plastic ones just don't hold up and they aren't comfortable at all!

When we ordered our new mattress from Overstock we definitely wanted a waterproof cover. We full time travel and our bed doubles as a couch space so food and drink are always around, and spills happen. I had looked at this cover, and after a few searches found good reviews of this brand and cover. So after much debate on a mattress we ordered one and I placed the order for the cover the same time as the mattress. The mattress and waterproof cover shipped separately from different locations, which I expected. We were pleasantly surprised that while the bed took only 4 days to be delivered the cover took 7. This was fine by us, as we weren't in a hurry. When the cover arrived the first thing I noticed is how light and thin the cover is! Most waterproof covers I have used in the past are thick, crinkly, and make a lot of noise. This one is thin, light, and silent. You don't get a 'plastic' feel under you when laying on it. Also, you don't get that crinkling noise every time you roll over. You really forget that it is even there! Putting it on was an ease, and it wraps around the entire mattress and zips closed which is great! You don't have to worry about it coming off or bunching up like the covers that just slip on tend to do. We have not had any spills yet, so I haven't tested it's durability, but from the feel and look of it I think it is going to work out great. I will update my post once I have something happen to test his durability.

I like this product cause it covers the matress completely. The only thing you need help to put it on if the matress is heavy trust me you would need help. Then you think is going to break because is thin. Another thing it makes noise too I feel like I have those things that they use in the hospital that they are blue and white. I'm not sure if this was a good investment. Time will tell. I'm not sure I can recommend cause I only found one good thing that's about it. Is on you if you like the noisy plastic.

I purchased this encasement for my new 5" Linenspa gel memory foam mattress and a new 3" gel memory foam topper. All purchased here on Overstock. Glad I choose this one. Although I only fill up 8", it's not swimming inside of there. It keeps them both in place and allows for easier "making the bed" experience. it doesn't make a crunchy sound while sleeping and is a quality protector. I did test out the waterproof portion and I'm glad to say it works! Thank you Overstock for another excellent product and pricing.

My mother requested something to protect her mattress. This was very easy to apply and I love that I could zip it up at one end of the mattress. Mom had a thicker mattress and this has deep enough pockets to hold the entire mattress. I don't understand how someone can rip this unless they're really wrestling with it. It's not just a piece of plastic. Feels like rayon but I'd have to look at the description to be sure. If you have a new deep pocket mattress that you'd like to protect, this is a good idea. This even fit over the mattress pad that we have on top of the mattress. Bed bugs and dust mites feed on skin cells that go inside the mattress so you want to protect your new mattress. I highly recommend this and I didn't expect this to be large enough so I'm pleasantly surprised.

Let me say I am a big fan of Linenspa products, having already purchased three mattress protectors w/elastic corners and they have lived up or exceeded my expectations. They are generously sized so no broken fingernails putting them on, as well as waterproof. When my granddaughter went off to college, I purchased the zippered "bed bug" protector. Well, I just found out that the bed bugs were not to be thwarted and my granddaughter had to vacate her dorm room for several days while it was being exterminated. It's a great product, but the manufacturer needs to drop the "bed bug proof" claim in its advertising.

This product is ABSOLUTELY not waterproof. I purchased this encasement plus a supposedly waterproof sheet-style mattress protector from the same brand to protect our new memory foam mattress. The sheet style protector has been laundered according to the manufacturer instructions three times in the six months we've been using it, and the encasement has never been laundered. Yet somehow both together failed to stop cat urine from soaking through all the bedding into the mattress below (even though the mess was caught and cleaned up immediately- the cat peed in front of me). This is no more waterproof than placing tissue paper on your mattress. I would give it no stars if I could. Useless product, do not trust your expensive mattress to this brand's products.

I definately would recommend this LinenSpa Mattress Protector. This is another order here I have placed for myself. What I truly like about this product is that once your mattress is inside, its protected from bed wetting, water / liquids from ruining your mattress with stains or smells. I have asthma and with this Mattress protector it helps you to comfortable and keeps you safe from dust mites, bed bugs, and allergens from being on the mattress. I would definitely recommend it to family, friends etc. With everything being enclosed, it also helps to protect any warranty you might have on your mattress. Keep it clean and free from close contact blemishes of dirt, stains, smells. Very soft and comfortable to lay on, does make squeaky noise like some other water proof cover do. Very nice and the price is nice as well.

I am so glad I bought this as I have had a bedbug problem where I live and my husband had purchased a cheap mattress and box spring and it was held in a warehouse for months while the bed bug treatment was done professionally..(Anybody who has had them knows the nightmare of the prep work, which I had to pay for out-of-pocket for professionals as I was in the hospital with broken Metatarsal bones and my husband was in the Veteran's Hospital struggling with Lung Cancer.) When everything was done and we had discarded the old bed, bureau and love seat and we put all the new furniure in, Iused these encasements just in case. The bed was so cheap I replaced it with a very expensive, thick one which I was so afraid of bedbugs I left the heavy plastic cover it wassold in on the bed. When it was delivered, the workers told me they couldn't take my old mattress and box spring on their truck, they showed it to me and inside he encasement it as teaming with bedbugs and they were trying to get out of the zipper! I had read of other people buying beds that had been stored or returned with bed bug larvae inside them, and that must have been what happened! I thank God I bought the new bed when I did, and still have not removed the original heavy plastic cover and have gotten used to the noise, (which isn't bad witha good, thick mattress pad and good sheets over it,) never mind the peace of mind it gives me, and I may not buy another encasement that guarantees it is bedbug proof!

Not too fond of the way it zips

I'm not too happy with the way this mattress protector zips. I had purchased another mattress protector previously (a different brand) and it advertised the 360 protection and the zipper function, etc. I saw the price was much lower for this one and took a chance. The zipper only unzips part of the way around and leaves the mattress protector still together like a mouth or something. It doesn't unzip all the way around and so to remove it to wash it, you have to take the whole thing off from the bottom and the top (unlike the other mattress protector I bought that unzipped all the way through and you were able to leave the bottom on and take off the top for washing and just reattach the top to the bottom half). How is one person supposed to unzip and take out a heavy memory foam king size mattress by themselves to wash it and then put it back on themselves??? Even my husband needed help putting it on and he is a strong man. This product is very awkward.... Probably only good for a twin mattress. That is something that is manageable for one person alone to be taking off and putting back on every time they wash... Not recommended for a LARGE mattress!! Zipper needs to go all the way around!

Great product

We decided to purchase this product to replace our old mattress cover. The previous cover was the kind that only covered the top of the mattress and had the elastic band to hold it in place. This product completely encases the mattress. It was a little cumbersome to install over a king sized mattress, but I managed on my own. Once it was in place, it was a simply zipper closure. The beauty of this product is, when we change our bedding every week, we don't have to worry about the mattress. At first, it seemed a little noisy, but it's either softened up or we've just adjusted to it. I don't even notice it any longer. Great produce. Easy to install. We've had it for a few months now, and we have no complaints.

BEST PRODUCT EVER

THIS THING IS AWESOME! I was a little worried about it being hard to put on, but it honestly was much easier than I expected. I thought I would just use it for when I was moving to keep the mattress clean throughout the process; but once I put it on my mattress and saw how snugly it fit, I ended up just putting my mattress pad and sheet on top of it and I can't even hear it while I sleep. It's comforting to know that my mattress is protected from bugs and dust particles. This would also be IDEAL for young children and potential bed wetting because it would protect the mattress but it wouldn't wake your kids up while they sleep. It's the greatest product ever.

Great for bunk beds

I bought the encasement and have really liked it. I've only ever used traditional mattress protectors which protect everything except the bottom on the mattress. This seemed perfect for full mattress protection. It's fairly thin fabric but doesn't seem like it would tear easily. The fabric feels waterproof but doesn't have a plastic, loud sound where you're laying on it. It's very large, mine is on a 6 inch mattress but I have lots of extra space. It could easily fit a 10 inch mattress or bigger! I'm using mine on a twin bunkbed for my crazy kids. Our bunks have the metal bars across the top bunk that the mattress lays on. This encasement will be perfect and protecting the bottom of my mattress from a pesky brother that stick their feet up and push the mattress up to tease their brother. It's perfect!

Zipper Size Inadequate

I was really disappointed with this purchase because it wouldn't work with our Memory Foam extra-long twin beds. My husband said that our mattresses would have to be stood on one end & maybe then we could get the covers on. But neither of us were up to the challenge of trying this maneuver. More importantly, I think that the construction of the protector is at fault because the zipper is too shallow & should have gone much further around. Bottom line is that I bought these protectors because one reviewer had said that she was able to use it on her 11-inch Memory Foam mattress. Ours are 11-inches, too; but they're just not going to work. So, I will return them.

Not Fitted

Just received this deliver yesterday. You would think a full size mattress cover would fit a full size matress. That was not the case. I bought it zippered for the full coverage against any bed bugs or dust mites (I live in an apartment so you never know) but I am thinking the one that is just a regular fitted cover would have been a better fit. I guess I still prefer the better protection against bugs vs for. So I took away a star because of the fit. I took away another star because it makes a swoosh noise, like windbreaker pants do. And I took away another star because my toddler get a grip of the edge with her cute dirty little fingers and it already stained. So it definitely does not wipe easy... thought it might because it seems to be a similar material to windbreaker pants. Hoping when I put the fitted sheets and tuck everything under the mattress it will look better. And yes that was air in the mattress cover that you see in the picture. I had to unzip it just a little and squeeze the air out. I have a regular full size mattress.

Effective and Comfortable

This is the first mattress encasement I have tried. I was concerned about the difficulty of putting it on the mattress. I was pleased that I was able to put the mattress encasement on by myself in less than five minutes. It was about as easy as changing the sheets. I took it off to launder it and did not have any problem with that procedure either. It does completely cover the mattress and has a zipper. I was curious to see if the waterproof claim was valid, so I poured a cup of water directly on the encasement and waited five minutes. The water was pooled on top of the encasement and I used a sponge to absorb it. I then unzipped the cover and verified that the mattress was completely dry!,
