Second reorder wasn't the charm

This is an item that was repurchased due to missing parts. Chewy graciously sent me another full reorder for the sofa-size protector instead of the missing parts which was greatly appreciated. The reorder arrived quickly but I was disappointed when I opened the box. One of the parts, the strap that holds the protector in place, was brown, not gray. It was as if the strap for the other color protector choice was lying around the warehouse and thrown into the box. The covering I ordered was gray.I also ordered a loveseat-size protector and it was perfect when it arrived with all the parts in the correct color.

Quality is good, but you better have patience!

Love the product but you have to re-adjust it, LITERALLY, every time you sit down %26 stand back up. it doesn't stay in-place at all!!😣

My dog tore the cover in half!

One of the things the pictures of this cover don't show you is there's a slightly protruding strip of fabric joining the top half to the bottom half of the cover. My Kangal Shepherd was able to surgically grab that strip of fabric and rip it straight across, separating the top from the bottom. I heard it rip and thought, that's a weird noise that shouldn't be made by a dog. When I went in to investigate, she had it in her mouth and was pulling it. I have two couches in my living room with the same sofa cover. She did it to both of them. I don't know how many dogs would be able to do this or have done it. but it's possible and was very easy for my dog to do. Both had to go into the trash.

I can only give this one 1 star--sorry. I ordered two of these for our sofas, and they fit fine and seem to stay in place with the anchors. However, my cats figured out how to get up UNDER the flaps and they choose to sleep on the sofa fabric, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid as I don't want the cats destroying the sofas (which is what they did). This should come with a strap to secure it to the front, arms, and back of the sofa that cats (and likely some dogs) cannot get under. If you have animals that don't attempt to get under the cover, then this is probably fine for you. However, if you have the kind of cats that I have, this is not going to work to keep them off of furniture; you need something that clings around the cushions.
