I would give this more stars except for one thing: the smell. You know that powerful and possibly toxic odor that these cheap compressed fiber "wood" products often have? (Yeah, "wood" -- like chicken nuggets are chicken.) It permeated all the packaging material and even the outer box. I had to let this thing air out in front of an open window for a few days, and even after that I was still catching whiffs of it for days once it was in its final place and the shelves stocked. Now however I smell it only if I'm right on top of it, so it does eventually dissipate. Other than that, it's great -- insanely easy to assemble, no tools! Unless of course you want to anchor it to a wall, which you should do if you have little kids or pets. It comes with the hardware for that, and you'll need a drill and a screwdriver of course. Seems sturdy enough, but I would respect the specified weight limits. I'm not going to be filling every shelf with books.

Functional. Put together in 5 minutes.

I bought this shelving unit to use as a bedside table. I use another unit just like this in my kitchen to hold serving bowls and platers. They assemble/dis-assemble in 5 minutes or less.

Very easy to put together, but also very wobbly

This was very easy to put together, yet it is also VERY wobbly. I'm not able to anchor it to the wall, so I will need to find a way to distribute the weight on the shelves or do something so that its not so wobbly.

Furinno STube 5 sgelf. Disappointed! All of the shelves were damaged in one corner, not because of packaging, but of workmanship. You get what you pay for, guess; however my daughter bought a different brand, same price range, and it was awesome. Won't buy Furinno again.
