Got a couple of slivers in my shorts, needs to be sanded down to ensure safety.

These came unfinished! I wish I had known that before ordering. They come in a bundle of raw cedar sticks that I then had to seal for outdoor use and assemble - overall, I wish they came ready to build but the quality is really nice. Just more work than I thought they would be to finish and get together!

Good looking, unique chair

Very pleased with look and comfort of the chair. Assembly was fairly straightforward but I agree with Peter - getting the nuts on the plastic threads was a challenge. I will note that I assembled 2 chairs and I did develop a technique for getting the nuts started that worked fairly well on the 2nd chair.

It looks just like the photo! I love the modern look and the chairs are actually quite comfortable!

Not good

The rods that hold it together are made of vinyl not steel so they brake as soon as you sit in it. It also lays back way too far and is not adjustable. It needs to be more upright. It is also less sturdy than other chairs like it. Go on Pinterest get the plans and build one yourself for about $30.

These will do. They're fine, and they look pretty nice. but here's a few things to consider: . . 1. The assembly of my first chair took my ONE full hour. Thank god for the beer. The instructions have one error, that while minor completely halts production until you figure this out. . . 2. The cedar is incredibly light. When you think of cedar wood chips that remind you of styrofoam, this cedar is kind of like that. . . 3. The **plastic** chord you must use to hold the pieces together must be chopped by a saw or whatever you can get your hands on. So AFTER the tedious assembly, you must then cut a stiff plastic chord which is about 1/4" thick. Kind of bummed about this. . . 4. Additionally those white stubs from the plastic will stand out like a sore thumb. The metal hardware and the plastic chord ought to be black, not silver and white, to contrast with the natural wood.

Excellent chair to sit on. Finish is not as nice as seen in the picture and assembly requires atleast two people. Over all happy with the assembled chair.

Beautiful

Truly a beautiful chair. Assembly relatively straightforward except for threading the nuts on the plastic threads. That was quite the nightmare but I didn’t see anyone else say that so it could just be me :-). Worth it however, they are just so unique.
