Very clean, beautiful and sturdy bench!
Absolutely gorgeous bench. Very clean design, love the color, super easy to assemble. It immediately made my room look more upscale. Did the assembly by myself with the tools it shipped with. Looks just like the picture and it is very sturdy. Take care of the surface though, it can scratch.

Odd scuff/dark mark ruins the piece
There is a single dark scuff on top. No others on the entire piece, so it looks like damage, not "farmhouse" style. Piece feels generally sturdy, but that single dark mark/odd scuff ruins the entire piece.

Not really black. Has white brush strokes, I guess an attempt at distressing but doesn't look good. One side had a gouge in it, the other had defects in the wood. Poor quality. Too much hassle to return as item is heavy.
