works well, looks bright

Not the incandescent bulb replacement I'd hoped for

I mean... they light up, which is their primary purpose. However, these are labeled “dimmable” with the box showing six gradients, but they have only two brightness levels in my lamps: full and dim. The dim level is not a warm light; it casts an odd, eerie glow in a small halo, similar to that of UV plant lights in an indoor vegetable garden rack. The screw-in part is also about 1.5 times as long as my various other E12 incandescent bulbs/sockets, so it doesn’t screw in all the way.

Good bulb, but not as pictured

I ordered these to use in my outside porch and garage lights. I have other GE LEDs, but they are now calling this particular light "soft white" vs. the former "warm white". The good news is that it is still a much more soothing light than the harsh white LEDs you see. Oddly, the bulbs also look nothing like the package shown. They are a fully transparent bulb with two yellowish filaments inside. If you like the more natural soft or warm white color, these are the way to go.

Worth the money.

Bulbs stay cooler than regular bulbs while being bright enough for my small lamps.

HD Light and warm tone are perfect for the bedroom.

Perfect for any chandelier

GE relax Soft White Hd 40W LED light Bulbs looked amazing in our chandelier. It’s really have that almost natural appearance of candelabra. I love that fire look. From a distance they look like it’s natural gas lighting. I will never go back to a regular lightbulb again. Plus, they last longer and save on money in the long run. I love the amazing perfection and saving the environment. It’s a double win for my household. Plus, the LED helps the crystals look so much better. They shine more and we have beautiful prisms on the wall too.

perfect brightness

The GE Relax soft white is perfect for my chandeliers and sconces. They give off a bright light, but it's a warmer light than most white/blue LED light bulbs, so you don't get the blinding glare in more intimate locations. I love that I'll also save money on my electric bill.

Light up

This unique bulb has enough light to assess whatever book or assignments you may have and still be less of a standard bulb. Definitely, great for nightstands. As a light sleeper, and his don’t wake me while my hubby may turn it on to go to the bathroom, unlike the TV.

Works great

These light bulbs give off great light and they work well. I’ve been using them for a while now and the light in the room is the perfect shade. These light bulbs are decorative and works perfect in decorative lighting fixtures. They give off a cozy lighting so they really work well in a warm environment. I would purchase them again.

The soft white color makes for a great ambiance

I am slowly switching over all my house's bulbs (CFLs) to LEDs. This GE LED was spot on in terms of illumination as I did not want a full blast of light in the room where I placed them. I also like the shape and it matches my decor. Well done!

Nice amount of light

These give off a softer light than some LED bulbs. I like them in my chandelier. I like LED bulbs because they tend to last so long, which saves money in the end! The clear glass allows the filament to show, which reminds me a little of an edison bulb.

Good LED lights for my special fixtures!

It is so good to know that there are LED options out there for my fixtures. The normal bulbs give out a harsher light and these give out a softer glow. It makes me turn on my fixtures more. They give off enough light without being too overpowering. Highly recommend switching out your old bulbs for these!

Different than I thought

The base on this light bulb is different than what I thought it would be. It's a small base, so it doesn't fit into my regular light fixture. I tried to put it in my small light fixture, but the bulb is too long, so it doesn't fit that either. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the bulb, but it didn't fit in anything I could use it for.

Beautiful and efficient

Finding a money saving necessity that is also stylish is a great find. Long lasting money saver that can be used in every room. The soft light LED technology has proven itself and this is no exception.

Excellent

I started using GE Relax Soft White HD 40w LED light bulbs and they are amazingly bright! It sure clears things up for trying to do my hair in the mirror and of course, works well in a candelabra too, it is dimmable which gives you just the amount of light you need.

Great bulb replacements

Used recently to replace original bulbs in a ceiling fan. Great warm color match and brighter with less power consumption. Excited to use other bulb sizes throughout our house. Will certainly buy again.

Excellent bulbs

I bought these to replace some bulbs in fixtures in my 104 year old home. They fit perfectly, are the same color and brightness and are said to last a long time. I like that they consume less energy and produce the same amount of light as traditional bulbs.

Perfect little lights

I put these lights into my floor lamp. They give off just enough light without being too bright. I’ve inky had them for a few weeks and so far they’re working as they should. Haven’t had any problems. None have burned out. They’re small so they don’t use much energy, which is good. They also don’t put out too much heat. All together a great set of lights. These wild prob look great in a chandelier as well.

Not so bright light

The light bulb is a 40 watt soft light which I tried to use in my bedroom as a reading light. The light was too soft for my taste. Would recommend for a smaller space or someone would does not want bright
