Worth the investment

Excellent brightness that is still easy on the eyes, and a vast improvement/upgrade on the previous CFL

GE lightbulb

Purchase went great. Took it off the shelf, walked to the front of the store and used self-checkout. Walked back out to my car and went home with the lightbulb. Installed it in the lamp that needed a new bulb and turned the switch to let electricity flow through the bulb. Eureka!! And there was light. Only time will tell if GE is blowing smoke or not advertising on the bulb container that it has a lifespan of 13-years based on 4-hours per day. Put a date on the bulb base and we’ll wait to see how long it lasts.

Super bright, warm soft glow and compact size for such a powerful light. This is definitely worth the price and therefore is a terrific value. 5 stars!!!

Not Scared Any Longer!!!!

These lights are spectacular and the crystal clear brightness is exactly what we needed to push back the darkness in the backyard. Not much energy is being used even leaving them on overnight and the family likes being able to see what is going on outback when they hear something.

Defective product?

Purchased two bulbs and one died after an hour.

Didn’t even last 6 months

I bought this led bulb in hopes of it lasting longer than the old incandescent bulbs, but I couldn’t even get 6 months out of this bulb. It was used sparingly in the kitchen, maybe 3-4 hours per day maximum. It was good while it lasted, but it is 5x the price of the old bulb and lasted about half as long. What a disappointment!

Great substitute for 200W CFL or Incandescent bulb

I bought this in case the 300 W equivalent bulb for a lamp was too much. But it wasn't. My wife suggested putting 200-watt LED bulb in a lamp on an end table near where I sort our various paper sizes for bagging for trash collection to minimize bag size. Oh, why can my semi-rural county have a paper, plastic, metal recycling program like the county I used to live in from 1998 - 2017?
