I have purchased a total of three of these to install in closets in one of my rentals. The electrician hard wired them to a single light switch. They give off a soft white light and do not get hot at all. I will definitely be buying more.

Installed it a week ago, replacing an old fluorescent fixture. New fixture is much brighter, needed to install a dimmer because it was too bright when viewed from the kitchen table. Save yourself a trip and buy a dimmer at the same time. Compatible dimmers are listed on the back of the box, not in the instructions. I used a Lutron TGCL-153PH-WH. The fixture did not flicker or hum when using this dimmer.

These are the best under cabinet lights ever! They do not get hot. They are very bright and the fixture is easy to install. We added a dimmer switch which makes it even better. Thank you!
