caps dont make noise for the most part, never heard one myself make noise.. the ac unit seems to be running smoother. air distribution is another odd question. outside AC unit is back in sink, no more odd harmonic distortions. compressor sounds better, starts better. as for how long this will last, i cant rate the cap. looks like any other, i didnt have to drive, to get this. get back in September, i'll let ya know.
