I just got a set of 12 of these dishes today. One box the pattern is lovely. Another box the pattern looks like it was out on hastily.

Very Satisfied

I always had Christmas dishes but gave them away when we downsized and moved to FL. We are now back in PA and close to family and friends. When I saw the deal on the dishes on your website, I knew I had to get them. They are well made and very Christmasy. I am completed delighted with the purchase.

Poor quality

Honestly it looks nice from afar but from up close, you can see how poorly made these are. Some prints are completely misaligned. How Gibson can manage to put something like this on the shelf is beyond me.

Broken

Loved the design. A large portion of dishes arrived broken or chipped.

Pretty but with Many Defects

The design and look of the dinnerware is very pretty. Quality of the manufacturing is poor. Needed to order 3 sets to get 2 sets that are satisfactory. Christmas trees not centered, border not consistently applied, one set came with a broken cup. Be aware if ordering a Gibson product because their QA is bad.

I bought these dishes to supplement another set I have had for years - also purchased at Walmart. I like that the plates are larger in this set and really like the soup bowls - the other set has small bowls that really aren't good for much besides desserts like pudding or ice cream. The patterns are slightly different but not not enough to keep me from intermingling the sets. One negative is that the designs are not always lined up on the pieces but I doubt anyone but me would notice that. The other negative is that the cups are really small - the other set had mugs and no saucers and are much more practical/functional. The pattern is very similar to Spode Tree pattern so I have been able to mix in a few of those pieces - like salt

Can't believe I found them!

I had gotten a set of these dishes many years ago and had been on the hunt for more ever since. I love these and have been using them every day since they arrived.
