Out of the package they look nice and with style. However they scratched during first use with the silverware. Regular fork and knives leave marks on the plates. Completely useless

Poor quality product

These dishes were poorly painted, with splotches. Most dishes had flaws such as pock marks or burrs. Several were broken when I opened the box. I promptly reboxed and returned them to the store. I am very disappointed with the low quality.

Huh a little disappointed because I get the wrong product I was supposed to get the yellow color and I get like a soft green I don’t know I was expecting yellow and that’s what my order said but that’s not what I get ‍♀️‍♀️ and I got other yellow stuff to match it now idk ‍♀️ what to do because I can’t return it…

We bought these to replace the thinner white set we had that had a lot of carbon streaks on them. They still get dark metal/carbon streaks, although maybe not quite as much as the older, cheaper ones. Overall, I guess they're a pretty good set. We like them. Would just like them more if not for the scuffs. If you're looking for a set that doesn't do this at all, keep looking.

Love this dinnerware set, pieces are heavy, with a nice matte finish. The color is teal, but I would say more of a mint green, which is fine by me as the shade is very attractive. Pleased with my purchase

These are beautiful! Love the color and style. Also happy that mugs aren’t included but available if I want them later.

[Rewarded Review] Poor quality control!

This company appears to not have a quality control department. We like the design of the dinner set and wanted to have two sets for our use. We bought two sets and found many of the dishes and bowls had marred finishes—ranging from spots with the glaze missing altogether to spots where the glaze was thickly glopped on with splashes rising noticeably above the surface. Many had blemishes near the edges as if someone had lifted them by hand before the glaze had been fired. Long story short, we have now purchased four sets intending to cull two good sets from the four and return the two other sets as “defective”. Sadly, we still do not have two good sets out of the four purchased. This is a lot of effort and frustration for something that should have been useable directly out of the box. Beware!

We order the red set and they look great and do what they’re meant to do. They’re a little heavy, but I prefer that. I would not recommend for someone that has trouble gripping heavier items.

I was happy to find this modern and pretty set for a great price. While they look great at first, because of the matte finish they get utensil marks very easily. Also I have had my set for only two months and one of the dinner plates has a crack. I’ve had no response from my emails to customer service to get a replacement plate. The plates are ok for the price but 2 stars because of service.

I ordered these with another set to mix and match and while there’s a couple drips of the glaze they are still beautiful and heavy dishes. I love the look of these dishes and the color is beautiful!

The packing of these dishes was superb… nothing could get broken. Color was exactly as pictured. I’ll buy another set now that I know how nice they are.

The quality of the dishes themselves are nice, but I will say that the cream colored dishes look nothing like the photo - the rimmed edges are dark and look like diner dishes. I would have never bought these in this color if the product photos were accurate. When i went to return these (to exchange for white), the return shipping for 2 sets cost as much as one full set (which I bought on sale). Just disappointing overall. I would have been happy with these in white I’m sure. The contrast in cream just looks bad.

These are BEAUTIFUL. They stack nicely, are just heavy enough. And the COLOR! We got the teal and it's a very lovely, delicate kind of shade. But be forewarned that if you--like me--don't always get to washing your dishes right away these take stains really easily and they get those grey lines from using cutlery on them, too. (Our last set from Gibson never did, but they were gloss finished and these are matte. Also, I'm not sure why this listing now says "Gracie Oaks," as when we bought them they were listed as Gibson and what we got were marked Gibson. *shrug*) We're willing to accept that, though, and are pretty happy with them!
