The window film itself is poorly produced, we needed an extra 4 rolls to make up for the defects of the original 9 rolls needed for the job.

This product has been changed, not for the better

I have used this window film on 13 different windows in the past for myself and friends. This is NOT the same product and what was once easy and looked great now is difficult to apply, thin, looks, awful, bubbly, irregularities in the film after application and it is extremely difficult to remove. Had to use liquid soap, water and a razor blade and it was a total mess! Too bad this was a great product however, I won't ever buy it again.

The film is much more difficult to put on than the instructions and videos imply. It is not a one person job if you’re doing anything other than a very tiny window. If you can get it installed correctly, it works great.

Be warned!

This film is a nightmare to work with. May the window and glass gods smile on you if/when you need to remove-replace the film.

Low Quality Product

Difficult material to work with, and this is coming from an an above average DIY'er

Can’t return fast enough

I wasted a whole roll and all my patience, trying to get this to apply to my window without curling back on the edges. I’ve applied window film before and had 3 perfect applications in a row of this nightmare just to watch it peel itself away and fall off. I was cursing so loud my dog hid from me. I can’t return the other 3 roles I purchased fast enough to get my money back and buy something that actually works. Looked really good while it was in place…for about 30 seconds. Gave this one star because the GUI made me. 0 stars

Terrible instructions and difficult to apply

Nothing easy about installing this, specially on big windows. Even with generous amounts of application fluid the film will glue too fast to the window, making it impossible to move and make adjustments. The instructions (written and official youtube video) are not consistent with the product and make no effort in showing the details (which is what one needs help with), making them useless. Terrible and expensive. Anything else will be better than this

The porduct once installed was good. Ease of install was horrible. The solution by Gila to install was terrible. But the frosting material itself was good quailty and worth the money.

Don't waste your money

complete waste of money and nearly impossible to apply without bubbles or the product folding in on itself. Need to unravel it to get to the directions and any little bend in the material will result in a crease in the finished product on the window.

Not recommended

Read the bad reviews. They are true. I have used another brand of window film before and it was fine, but this is what home depot had. I found impossible to work with. Won't use it again.

Using to cover a garage door window for security purposes.

Absolute trash for large windows

Good luck applying this to anything wider than 3 ft. It filters light well but any creases will show up immediately. Even with using an excessive amount of the recommended spray it will adhere to the window in areas before you can get all the bubbles out, and it has a really thin adhesive that will stay stuck to the window.

Products are fine. Lowe's checkout sucks.

The product is fine. Works ok. The terrible part is Lowe's checkout! I avoid going there just because the checkout sucks.

Don't buy!!!!

This product is horrible. Complete waste of money. Doesn't work on larger windows. Extremely frustrating to install. Sticks to itself. I wish I could send the rest back and get my money back. This product sucks and I'll never buy from this company again.

Give yourself 1” to play with and plenty of water.

Easy to install. Just need a spray bottle of water once you cut it to size. Do a little at a time and squeegee out to sides using a card.

Easy to DIY

I think this brand is one of the easiest to use for window coverings. The plain frosted is the most useful because it fits any style of house (old v modern). My first window was a learning process, but I have now done 4 windows and feel confident/am faster with each window, so I think anyone would be able to do this (sometimes it does help to have a second person for bigger windows).

The product is very difficult to install. I couldn't do it so had to hire someone to and even they screwed up a role.
