I ordered 4 sinks and received 5. Of the 5 sinks only one was usable. The 3 damaged sinks I ordered were returned easily by UPS. The sink I did not order (also damaged) is still waiting to be picked up by UPS - after 3 calls to Home Depot. The installed sink looks great, but no soap dish was included.

Sink arrived damaged

Sink arrived with cardboard box taped around it. Pieces from the busted white porcelain of the sink were falling through the box. There was no styrofoam or any other type of protective padding. No paperwork. Just a busted taped up box around a $1500 sink. I’m amazed that this item was shipped in this condition.

Not yet. I’ve ordered it the third time and still waiting. The first and second ones arrived damaged.

I am currently awaiting my 7th sink order. Five have been damaged two were lost in shipment. Months have passed and still no sink. Customer service is polite, professional and can expertly order me a replacement. They cannot however specify a shipper. I do not know if FedEx or Kohler or Home Depot is the one who needs to train people on how to handle, or package freight.

Uneven face caused breakage

Ordered this sink and an expensive Kohler faucet to go with. Waited 9 months for the faucet. Finally installed it and the sink was uneven across the front leaving a quarter inch gap one one side. Tried to tighten it down to close the gap and the sink cracked at the mounting hole. Build.com blamed the plumber and refused to replace the sink. Because the cabinets and countertop are set up for this particular sink we will buy another just like it from another supplier who will hopefully stand behind their product if it is an inferior casting.

I was lucky

I had this sink which I bought for $25 (!!!!!) when the local hospital was remodeling their surgical suite. These sinks had been used as surgical scrub sinks. I had it installed in my laundry room. Great for pre-soaking, hand washing, and washing the dog. I loved it and am so sad that I had to leave it behind when we moved.

The sink is beautiful minus the flaw on the very top ledge. We didn't catch it when it arrived in store(employees hand was covering it while he was helping my husband hold it above the box while I looked the sink over). The underside (bottom) of sink also had a crappy paint job but that didn't matter because I'm painting mine. If I wasn't then I would have exchanged for different one, it was that bad. Had a plumber install sink. He said he hopes he never has to install one of these again due to how heavy and awkward it was. I love this sink but after using it for a year (in a summer home)it has pits in it where the water runs. It has turned a blue color, changed faucets and the opposite faucet is pitting the on second side. Very disappointed and do not know how to repair, cannot replace without ruining the quartz countertop.

Beautiful sink. Hard to install- so make sure you have skills, and know where your studs are. The mounting brackets must be in an exact location with the sink, so be ready to add reinforcements in-wall to hold heavy sink.

Very Nice Sink

Home Depot special order came on time and they helped me load it in my car ;) The sink is very nice and fun! Looks GREAT in my newly redecorated laundry room.
