Drawing dimension is wrong.

The projection of the roll holder is not 1" as shown in the technical specification drawing. It is 1 5/8".

The backing part and provided screws were nearly impossible to install. I wisely saved the old back and screws and used them instead of the cheap, useless provided backing part.

Will not hold jumbo rolls.

Moen says this is 2 inches deep. It is slightly less than 1.5 inches deep.

I wanted this particular tp holder because it fit into the wall more deeply than others. I was disappointed that the actual roll holder that you put the roll on is plastic, I would have preferred metal.

Good replacement

We purchased (3) of these in chrome a while back. They were simple to install and have held up well. Our bathrooms are either small or narrow so a recessed holder is best.

Came with clamp necessary to attach it to sheetrock wall. Hard to believe that other companies sell recessed TP holders without a clamp!

We have 3 bathrooms, I bought 3 of them. Looks so much better! Fairly easy to put in, I recommend them!

It was a great replacement for the old crusty unit. Exact fit. The only negative was it was made in China.

Supplied screws too short

Another trip back to the store...needed 3" long #8 panhead screws for installation in 1/2" sheetrock. Supplied 2" screws are too short

Easy install as long as there is an open void in the wall space. If choosing a new location, make sure there are no studs directly behind your chosen spot. Unfortunately, if replacing an in-wall (ceramic) holder, there may be a stud behind. This holder requires space behind the drywall (ceramic ones are only as deep as the drywall).

Super easy to install and instructions were very good. However I would add... create little perforation holes at Each corner before popping in your sheetrock knife. It makes the corners much crisper and easier to get the knife started

Worked well as a replacement.

Was as pictured. I mounted it where the old one was for 30 years which was in the side of the Bathroom Vanity. Worked well for that too.

Purchased this to replace an older fixture. It is the perfect color to match the wall colors in the bathroom, in soft cream. The fixture itself is just right, but the curved metal piece on the back did not work with the wall opening due to it being a wallboard with an inch thickness. I was unable to attach the back to the screws through the slots in the metal; and could not find a way to insert the metal piece inside of the wall opening. I found a solution using Duck tape on the inside edges of the fixture and then added a top and bottom strip of the cream Duck tape after trimming it so it would not be too wide. This solved the problem and the fixture looks great as the tape and the fixture color are a perfect match for the wall. Plus ithe tape is sturdy and holds it in place. The fixture was the perfect color and style. It was just the design of the curved metal back piece that did not work with our wall.

I am thoroughly satisfied with my new recessed Toilet Paper Holder. It was very easy to install using only one screwdriver. Hopefully it will last as long as its' predecessor.

I realize this is a very inexpensive part and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to install it, but a little instruction or even a cutting template would go a long way adding minimal cost to the product. Once I figured out how large to make the hole it was easy to just use a box-cutter to cut it into the sheet rock, making multiple scores until it was possible to remove the cut part. I partially installed the back-plate which acts as a clamp to hold the unit in the wall from inside. The screws have to be barely inserted to hold the back plate to the unit to keep the backplate from falling into the wall, and still be loose enough to allow the user to push it all the way, top and bottom, through the hole. I needed a log screw driver to help, being careful not to dent or scratch painted metal face. But once the back plate was all the way inside the wall it was a simple task to tighten the two screws to hold the unit in it's final position.
