Also didn’t want the block that most sets come with and take up a lot of counter space, so the in-drawer block was perfect. Great price! They handle so well and so sharp. Most beautiful, comfy & ergonomic knives!

I've had this Global Cutlery Set for a year now. These knives have the best design, look fantastic on a kitchen counter, are extremely ergonomic and make slicing challenging veggies & fruits extremely easy. They are a 100% worth it even if you don't cook a lot. I can tell they will last a lifetime. For the price-point, I wish they threw in an additional smaller knife and scissors. Be nice to yourself and get this for your kitchen, you are worth it!

For years I've looked for the best knives for a variety of cutting purposes with little success. Chef Anthony Bourdain wrote in his book that he only used Globals. From my first purchase I saw and "felt" the distinct difference. After purchasing 3 styles separately, over the years, this 6-piece set affords me all that I need. I also want to express how great my previous knives were sharpened at my local Sur La Table after I had used them for awhile.

Beautiful set

I love Global knives, and this is a great set for a good price (got mine on sale). I would have preferred to have a santoku, but other than that it is a very nice set of knives, and there are extra slots in the block so I can fill in the santoku later.
